★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ou saudades. Na minha época o dava o lanche aos alunos no sol quente e ficávamos sentado no chão. E as vezes não tinha lanche suficiente para todos os alunos.
 Or miss you. In my day, I gave the students lunch in the hot sun and we sat on the floor. And sometimes there was not enough lunch for all students.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ O Colégio Estadual do Atheneu Norte-Riograndense é um tradicional colégio do Rio Grande do Norte, localizado na sua capital, Natal.
Foi fundado no século XIX, em 3 de fevereiro de 1834, época em que o Brasil era uma monarquia, pelo então presidente da província Basílio Quaresma Torreão, que também foi o seu primeiro diretor-geral. Basílio Quaresma escolheu o nome da escola, da versão portuguesa de Athénaion. Como explicou Luís da Câmara Cascudo, "no Ateneu de Atenas os poetas liam os poemas e os historiadores o relato das jornais pelas terras estranhas e misteriosas"[1].
É a segunda mais antiga instituição escolar brasileira (a mais antiga é o Ginásio Pernambucano, de 1825), fundado antes mesmo do Colégio Pedro II no Rio de Janeiro.
Atheneu Norte-Riograndense State College is a traditional school in Rio Grande do Norte, located in its capital, Natal.
It was founded in the 19th century, on February 3, 1834, when Brazil was a monarchy, by the then provincial president Basílio Quaresma Torreão, who was also its first director-general. Basilio Quaresma chose the name of the school, from the Portuguese version of Athénaion. As Luis da Câmara Cascudo explained, "in the Athenaeum of Athens the poets read the poems and the historians report the newspapers through the strange and mysterious lands" [1].
It is the second oldest Brazilian school institution (the oldest is the 1825 Pernambuco Gymnasium), founded even before Pedro II College in Rio de Janeiro.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Apesar da pouca valorização do governo estadual e federal, a escola é muito boa. Seus gestores buscam da melhor forma possível, manter o Atheneu como uma boa escola pública, que no passado já foi referência.
Despite the little appreciation of the state and federal government, the school is very good. Its managers seek in the best possible way to keep Atheneu as a good public school, which in the past has been a reference.

Linda Estruturas,em minha opinião são ótimos os professores que eu tive,as vezes o sistema não é organizado mas todos sabem se aliar e arrumar as coisas.
Muito incrível o tempo que passei amava ficar nas árvores..
Muitos projetos,clubes,seminários ,eletivas, apresentações,palestras e oficinas.
Em 2018 sinceramente Atheneu Evoluiu muito

Linda Structures, in my opinion the teachers I had are great, sometimes the system is not organized but everyone knows how to ally and organize things.
Very amazing the time I spent, I loved being in the trees...
Many projects, clubs, seminars, electives, presentations, lectures and workshops.
In 2018 sincerely Atheneu Evolved a lot
