★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Очень интересное место - недорогая закусочная возле Hotel Novo Mundo и метро Catete. Японский шарм (хозяин - японец), чистоты нет в помине, зал грязный и неудобный, разбитые грязные плафоны, поразительный туалет. Но еда - сносная, вкусная и весьма недорогая. Похоже лучше брать с собой, на вынос. Английского, естественно, в заведении не понимают - как и русского. Продают что-то хлебное, что с удовольствием раскупают местные - но не пробовал.
A very interesting place is an inexpensive eatery near Hotel Novo Mundo and Catete metro. Japanese charm (the owner is Japanese), there is no trace of cleanliness, the hall is dirty and uncomfortable, broken dirty plafonds, amazing toilet. But the food is tolerable, tasty and very inexpensive. It looks like it's better to take it with you, take it out. Naturally, the institution does not understand English, just like Russian. They sell something bread that the locals are happy to buy up - but have not tried it.
