★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is place has lots of character and the food is good. The ingredients are not of the best quality, and it is a bit expensive at $107 BRL average. Although the food is plentiful you can find better quality for the same price in other venues.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food is good.
Service is so slow, had to wait about an hour. Received on plate and the other one half an hour later.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Attention to details and safety (in a pandemic age) is very good. Space is shared by tables, tatami and sushi bar, so anyone can find a comfortable spot to enjoy the dishes. The food is one of the best in town, richer in taste than what is commonly found nowadays in "Eastern cuisine" restaurants in more hyped locations. It offers three options of service, a la carte, "budget" all-you-can-eat, with a limited serving of sashimi (which is usually enough for most people), and "full" all-you-can -eat, with unlimited sashimi. Hot dishes, like misoshiru (with lots of tofu) and tempura (shrimp or vegetables), and desserts, like caramelised fruits, ice-creams, and papaya cream, are included. Price is in the middle range, more than just for the great food and service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was quite disappointed since it has been 4 years since my last visit. Prices goes up, accordingly with the actual tendencies, but the quality of everything dropped absurdly! Goodies of low quality. They're saving money even in vegetables! They also abandoned some things of japanese etiquette, like say irasshaimase when a customer arrives. The waiters are polite and well mannered.
It's still a good place for eat a japanese buffet, but a la carte options are a waste of money. You pay high for low quality food. They even bought cheaper porcelain to replace their beautiful ones and also they doesn't serve anymore the little cucumber salad entree. It seems they're adapting to a new class of costumers: used to eat japanese fast food on mall and take selfies in a cool place. If you seek a more traditional experience or want to remember the amazing taste dishes they've made in the past 5 years, forget it and go to another restaurant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing japenese restaurant, with a buffet or a la carte menu. Can sit in traditional japenese tatami on the floor or regular tables. About 90 R$ for the Buffett on the weekends with fresh, amazing food. Highly recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Come and enjoy IF you have LOTS of time to wait for your food! Staff is friendly but the waiting is really absurd. Not a single table around us was happy. Fortunately the food was good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Yeah, I was expecting a very good experience at this restaurant. Once getting inside, the place looked very cozy, despite behaviors and warnings about social distancing. Lots of couples enjoying their servings... I was excited about the experience.
I’ve got my orders and that was it: half an hour later... 40 minutes and no meal for my table.
No waiter/waitress came to our table to ask if everything was right (as it wasn’t).
Then I asked what was going on, and they figured out that our order was mistaken by a typo. Even so, no waiter came during these 40 minutes to check anything.
The owner was very sorry, and even offered a mini-serving for free... but the mood was killed.
It certainly is an once in a while xp, judging by other reviews...but unfortunately it occurred to me and my wife.
Hope they improve waiter service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Having visited Japan and sampled some of the finest Japanese cuisine, Tako Sushi is as close as it gets in Sao Paulo. Try the buffet with plenty of authentic sushi delights as well as some Brazilian hybrids. Service is impeccable and the dining space reminded me of places I've been outside of Tokyo. Definitely check it out
