★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nunca tinha ido em um Projeto Tamar e adorei a experiência. Os funcionários são bem atenciosos para explicar sobre as espécies e para tirar dúvidas. Além disso, em alguns pontos dá pra ter uma bela vista de Vitória.
 I had never been to a Tamar Project and I loved the experience. The employees are very attentive to explain about the species and to answer questions. In addition, at some points you can have a beautiful view of Vitória.

Os ingressos de meia e inteira tem valores bem cabíveis, o local é bem estruturado com setas indicativas e funcionários por toda a parte prontos para ajudarem. A experiência agrega muito, uma que todos os membros da equipe com quem falei sabiam dar informações sobre as tartarugas com precisão (pontos para a equipe, super jovem e prestativa). Além disso, a vista no topo é absurdamente linda, há um parquinho, uma espécie de auditório a céu aberto com TV, loja de souvenires e uma pequena lanchonete.
Achei apenas uma pena um dos tanques estar em desuso.
An accessible, tasty and educational tour. Half and full tickets have very reasonable prices, the place is well structured with indicative arrows and employees everywhere ready to help. The experience adds a lot, one that every team member I spoke to knew how to accurately report the turtles (points to the team, super young and helpful). In addition, the view at the top is absurdly beautiful, there is a playground, a kind of open-air auditorium with a TV, a souvenir shop and a small snack bar.
It was just a shame that one of the tanks was in disuse.

“Projecto Tamar”,has saved the near extinction of all marine turtles.
Projecto Tamar stands for in English,(”Tartagus Marinhas”- in Portuguese) Simply is “Sea Turtle”.This is a active non governmental organization which started in 1980s by few young oceanographic students.
Who built a conservative movement to protect Marine turtles.
There are few visiting sites & conservation sites along the long coast of brazil. Visit if you get a chance.
You will learn about the turtles & the dangers this animals posses etc.The few dollars you spent to visit these sites are being used to good used,as it is funding the Projecto Tamar.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tamar is a very important project for the conservation of sea turtles in Brazil. There you can see some live turtles in captivity and learn how they did to reverse the conservation status of the species from bad to good. You should definitively visit it.
