Sensational to have made this visit. I was born in Natividade and came to Palmas in 1998, the year that the construction of the Luís Eduardo Magalhães Hydroelectric Power Plant began.

The visit was very good. It tells a little about the history of the formation of the state and I also enjoyed the library there. Very rich in information. Lots of books for those who also want to know the history of colonial Brazil in relation to the region that is today Tocantins.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lugar localizado com uma visão privilegiada de Palmas com a serra ao fundo, antigo palácio do governo foi por muito anos o apoio central do gov do estado. Existe possibilidade de visita guiada, só basta solicitar. A visita completa dura em torno de 45 min. Da pra contemplar bem todas as informações presentes lá, tais como primeira capela ou mesmo todos os requintes de móveis e decorações.
Place located with a privileged view of Palmas with the mountains in the background, the former government palace was for many years the central support of the state govt. There is the possibility of a guided tour, just ask. The complete visit lasts around 45 minutes. You can contemplate all the information present there, such as the first chapel or even all the refinements of furniture and decorations.
