★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hermoso recorrido por un camino muy bien mantenido, en todo el trayecto rodeado por una densa vegetación. Al llegar, el caserío que parece detenido en el tiempo es la antesala a un paisaje paradisíaco.
Beautiful route along a well maintained road, all the way surrounded by dense vegetation. When arriving, the farmhouse that seems stopped in the time is the prelude to a paradisiacal landscape.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ De Parnaioca a Dois Rios foi a trilha mais fechada e selvagem que encontramos durante a Volta à Ilha em maio/2017, muito embora soubéssemos de várias pessoas que haviam passado por ali nos últimos dias.
Havia, por exemplo, várias árvores caídas, que tivemos que utilizar como escadas para poder seguir a trilha.
Embora fosse longa (7.8 km), a trilha consistia em uma subida forte no início, de cerca de meia hora, e um trecho mais tranquilo depois. A descida também não foi das mais íngremes ou escorregadias por que passamos.
Não é permitido pernoitar em Dois Rios, portanto eu sugiro iniciar a trilha cedo para poder aproveitar a praia e seguir para Abraão no mesmo dia.
From Parnaioca to Dois Rios was the most closed and wildest trail we encountered during the Volta à Ilha in May/2017, even though we knew of several people who had been there in the last few days.
There were, for example, several fallen trees, which we had to use as ladders to be able to follow the trail.
Although it was long (7.8 km), the trail consisted of a strong climb at the beginning, of about half an hour, and a quieter stretch afterwards. The descent was also not the steepest or slippery we went through.
It is not allowed to stay overnight in Dois Rios, so I suggest starting the trail early in order to enjoy the beach and head to Abraão on the same day.

Vale a pena a caminhada porque a praia é incrível.
Na verdade não é uma trilha e sim uma estrada (que levava ao presídio) bastante aberta e muito bem marcada. A placa no início da trilha diz ser 8,3 km, mas na verdade são 9.1 km até a entrada do povoado. Se seguir até a praia dá 10km. Metade da trilha é subindo e metade decida. Muito gostoso de se fazer, mas tem q estar no pique pra fazer ida e volta que chega aí aos seus 20km.
The trail is long and wonderful!
It is worth the walk because the beach is incredible.
Actually, it is not a trail, but a road (which led to the prison) quite open and very well marked. The sign at the beginning of the trail says it is 8.3 km, but in fact it is 9.1 km to the village entrance. If you go to the beach it is 10km. Half the trail is uphill and half decides. Very nice to do, but it has to be at the peak to make the round trip that reaches its 20km.

Trilha bem tranquila. Leva às ruinas do presídio, que tem locais bem impressionantes, como a solitária.
Vale a pena conhecer.

Very quiet trail. It leads to the prison ruins, which have very impressive places, such as the lonely one.
