★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Os preços são mais em conta do que em outras clínicas particulares que já frequentei e o parcelamento no cartão ajuda bastante. O local é amplo, sossegado e dá para ficar do lado de fora enquanto aguarda o atendimento. Os ambientes em que estive estavam satisfatoriamente limpos. Uma grande vantagem é poder fazer os exames lá mesmo. Ruim: um pouco de pernilongos e moscas.O grande ponto negativo: muito, muito, muito demorado. Na 1a consulta, numa 5a feira de manhã, umas 3hs de espera. Nas duas seguintes, pouco mais de 1h. De modo geral, os veterinários foram bons. Só me inquieta um pouco ser atendida por profissionais diferentes cada vez que vou lá.
Atualização: nos últimos anos frequentei várias clínicas por conta do estado de saúde de meu animal e pude ter um melhor parâmetro do atendimento da UFMG. Definitivamente a qualidade do atendimento ao cliente não é de primeira; não obstante, foi melhor do que esperava. Meu animal precisou ser operado lá e, das duas vezes, quase não ficou cicatriz, trabalho muito bem feito nesse aspecto, diferente do que ocorreu noutra clínica que frequentei. Outro ponto bom a respeito da UFMG é que te dão recibo de absolutamente tudo, o que noutras clínicas nem sempre ocorre.
 The prices are more affordable than in other private clinics I've been to, and the payment in installments on the card helps a lot. The place is wide, quiet and you can stay outside while waiting for service. The environments I was in were satisfactorily clean. A big advantage is being able to take the exams there. Bad: a little bit of mosquitoes and flies. The big downside: very, very, very time-consuming. In the 1st consultation, on a Thursday morning, a 3 hour wait. In the next two hours, just over 1 hour. Overall, the vets were good. It just bothers me a little to be seen by different professionals every time I go there.
Update: in recent years I attended several clinics due to the state of health of my animal and could have a better service parameter at UFMG. The quality of customer service is definitely not first rate; nevertheless, it was better than expected. My animal had to be operated on there and, both times, there was almost no scar, a job very well done in this aspect, unlike what happened in another clinic I attended. Another good point about UFMG is that they give you a receipt for absolutely everything, which in other clinics does not always happen.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Em 1995, levamos o nosso cão lá, foi usado como cobaia, depois que não conseguiram tratar a veterinária coordenadora da equipe recomendou sacrificar. Antes pediu exames desnecessários, os outros estagiários contaram que ela fazia isso mesmo, o laboratório que ela recomendava era do namorado dela, ficava na Av. Carlos Luz. Tiramos um raio-x também dentro do campus da UFMG, não apareceu ninguém para ajudar quando a gente saiu da sala carregando o animal tão doente. PÉSSIMOS ALUNOS E PROFESSORES! Gente apática que só quer mesmo ter um diplominha de graduado não tem nenhuma humanidade.
In 1995, we took our dog there, he was used as a guinea pig, after they couldn't treat the veterinary coordinator of the team recommended to sacrifice it. Before, she asked for unnecessary tests, the other interns said that she did just that, the laboratory she recommended was from her boyfriend, it was on Av. Carlos Luz. We also took an x-ray inside the UFMG campus, no one showed up to help when we left the room carrying the sick animal. TERRIBLE STUDENTS AND TEACHERS! Apathetic people who really just want to have a little graduate degree don't have any humanity.
