★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mais um campus criado no auge da expansão universitária do Brasil e que foi esquecido pelo governo federal.
Não há estrutura para os discentes e docentes.
Dista 25km da capital e não possui transporta metropolitano. Obrigando o aluno a pagar duas tarifas e ainda utilizar um sistema de transporte precário (Coopertalse).
O ônibus disponibilizado para os alunos não supre a demanda.
A cidade não oferece estrutura nem segurança aos usuários.
A univeraidade não possui acessibilidade adequada. Os edifícios estão deteriorados e em estado decrépito.
Não há um restaurante universitário e os alunos ou gastam caro com refeições de má qualidade oferecidas nos restaurantes locais ou vivem de biscoitos e salgados.
Falta muito para atingir 3 estrelas.
Péssima estrutura.
Another campus created at the height of Brazil's university expansion and forgotten by the federal government.
There is no structure for students and teachers.
It is 25km from the capital and has no metropolitan transport. Forcing the student to pay two fares and still use a precarious transportation system (Coopertalse).
The bus made available to students does not meet the demand.
The city does not offer structure or security to users.
The university does not have adequate accessibility. The buildings are deteriorated and in decrepit condition.
There is no university restaurant and students either spend dearly on poor quality meals offered at local restaurants or live off cookies and snacks.
There is a long way to go to reach 3 stars.
Bad structure.

As contribuições cientificas da universidade contribuíram de modo a melhorar a vida do povo sergipano. Sua extensão no municipio de Laranjeiras exerce a função de manter o traços identitários e culturais deste municipio. A titulo de exemplo, anualmente as instalações do campus laranjeiras da UFS dervem como palco e auditório da realização do simpósio cultural de laranjeiras, evento este que ultrapassa os muros da universidade e alcança o municipio como um todo.
The Federal University of Sergipe has a high degree of importance for the state from which it bears the name. The scientific contributions of the university contributed in order to improve the life of the people of Sergipe. Its extension in the municipality of Laranjeiras has the function of maintaining the identity and cultural features of this municipality. As an example, the facilities of the UFS laranjeiras campus serve as a stage and auditorium for the realization of the cultural symposium of laranjeiras, an event that goes beyond the walls of the university and reaches the municipality as a whole.
