★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went there a couple of time upon my trips to Rio de Janeiro with colleagues. They got an extraordinary selection of meat and wine. Perfectly cooked and nice side dishes. Huge terrace outside on the walkable Downtown shopping area of Barra de Tijuca. On the other hand, if you are more into beer then wine, this is pretty much ordinary. But they have great cocktail to accommodate other needs and tastes
On the downside, the service is really slow, and you have to chase for them especially outside on the terrace.
Also, this is pretty expensive, bug regarding the quality of the meal, the cooking and the wine selection I guess this is normal.
Finally, the inside area is really dark, not a big deal, but you will have hard time reading the menus. And special notes, for all non-Portuguese speaking traveller, they don’t really speak English, you’ll have to adapt, but they are very helpful and always try to communicate even though you are not speaking their language. Actually, this is all around Rio de Janeiro.
So, this place is a must if you are travelling around Barra de Tijuca for a great meal especially with a large group of friends
