Por meses passei por cima da falta de carisma e profissonalismo da recepcionista, de tentativas frustradas de atendimento com um profissional que claramente não esta apto para atender o caso especifico (não dominando a area), algumas idas com animal sem comer saindo sem nenhuma resposta ou tratamento concreto, adiamento de procedimentos sem o menor interesse do hospital em resolver o problema ou dignamente assumir que não teria condições de continuar com o caso. Além da dificil (pra não falar impossivel) comunicação com os veterinários em casos de emergencia, os retornos levavam no minimo 24hrs. Não vou entrar aqui em detalhes do caso mas é inadimissivel um animal fazer uma cirurgia e não realizarem sequer um exame de imagem após o procedimento. Felizmente tive recursos para transferir meu animal a uma clinica especializada de verdade em outra cidade, e mesmo com as complicações que tem devido ao tratamento inadequado que teve nesse lugar, felizmente ele esta vivo hoje, coisa que duvido muito que aconteceria se tivesse continuado o tratamento nesse lugar.

For months I went over the receptionist's lack of charisma and professionalism, the frustrated attempts to serve a professional who is clearly not able to meet the specific case (not dominating the area), some trips with an animal without eating leaving without any response or concrete treatment, postponement of procedures without the hospital's interest in solving the problem or with dignity to assume that it would not be able to continue with the case. In addition to the difficult (not to mention impossible) communication with the veterinarians in emergency cases, returns took at least 24hrs. I will not go into the details of the case here, but it is inadmissible for an animal to undergo surgery and not even perform an image exam after the procedure. Fortunately I had the resources to transfer my animal to a real specialized clinic in another city, and even with the complications it has due to the inadequate treatment it had in that place, luckily it is alive today, which I very much doubt would have happened if I had continued the treatment. in this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ O Hospital Veterinário de Petrópolis fica em Correias, entre o cento da cidade e o distrito de Itaipava. Tem boa estrutura, ofertando grande variedade de serviços, incluindo exames de imagem (raio-x e ultrassonografia) e laboratório próprio.
Funciona 24h e o atendimento no plantão noturno é muito bom, contando com médico veterinário e auxiliar.
Compõe o empreendimento uma loja de produtos para animais de estimação, mas que já estava fechada quando da visita, em virtude da hora.
Os preços para procedimentos no plantão são bem salgados, mas eles entregam um bom resultado graças à boa estrutura e equipe, o que pode fazer a diferença na vida do bichinho de estimação a depender da emergência que se tenha.
