About Vila Matilde Adventist College
O primeiro dia de aula, a gente nunca esquece! E 1º de julho de 1896 não foi diferente. Nessa data, o Colégio Internacional de Curitiba abria as portas, não de apenas uma nova escola, mas da primeira unidade do que hoje chamamos Rede Educacional Adventista no Brasil. Situada na rua Paula Gomes, 290, em uma casa de janelas grandes, próxima ao parque Passeio Público, de residências da elite e da biblioteca municipal, no centro de Curitiba, aquela instituição seria o pontapé inicial para um sistema educacional que hoje está presente em todo o país.
Mas essa história começa com um número pequeno de pioneiros. O Colégio Internacional teve Guilherme Stein Júnior como seu primeiro diretor, nada mais nada menos do que o primeiro adventista batizado em território nacional. Ele, que se mudou de Piracicaba, no interior paulista, para Curitiba com o objetivo de dirigir a instituição, havia estudado em um colégio que também possuía o título “internacional”. Esse pode ter sido o motivo para a primeira escola adventista carregar esse nome durante os anos iniciais. Porém, outra explicação seria o fato de aquela escola pioneira oferecer o ensino bilíngue, em português e alemão, o que foi um grande atrativo para a população curitibana.

Sinto que se preocupam verdadeiramente com a construção da formação dela quanto profissional de sucesso e uma cidadã de valores e de bem. Até aqui estamos indo bem.
 Excellent in everything. It is my daughter's 2nd year at this college and we are fully satisfied with the care of the professionals for both her content, meetings, projects and so on. Congratulations ! I feel that they truly care about building her education as a successful professional and a citizen of values and good. So far we are doing well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Colegio é bonito, apenas... porém não dão aula de informática e nem de educação física... as crianças ficam soltas na hora do intervalo é uma gritaria, sabemos que quando se trata de crianças têm barulho e bagunça, mas lá é fora do normal, nem parece que tem monitores lá pra olharem as crianças!
Eles estão preocupados com estrutura ao invés de melhorarem o ensino.
Precisam mudar urgentemente essa forma de estudo!
School is beautiful, just ... but they do not teach computer classes or physical education ... the children get loose at the time of the break is a scream, we know that when it comes to children there is noise and mess, but outside normal, it doesn't even seem like there are monitors there to watch the children!
They are concerned with structure rather than improving teaching.
They urgently need to change this form of study!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Extremamente decepcionada. Meu filho estuda há três anos neste colégio. O aluno é só mais um número. Não existe humanização.
Além disso o valor da mensalidade está aumentando muito. Tornando difícil manter na escola. Para uns tem desconto e para outros não. Não adianta conversar. A resposta é: não dá para você saia. Simples assim. Foi o que eu ouvi. Infelizmente....
Extremely disappointed. My son has been studying at this college for three years. The student is just another number. There is no humanization.

De início pode ser um pouco confuso para compreender o local (a falta de uma planta contribui com a dificuldade); porém, como há sempre alguns colaboradores a vista, é possível chegar a local pretendido com facilidade. Local possui uma estrutura muito boa e equipamentos de ponta, excelente para eventos médios e grandes com um público considerável. O auditório é muito espaçoso e é um dos destaques do colégio.
Great place, huge college and lots of great features!
At first it can be a bit confusing to understand the location (the lack of a plant contributes with the difficulty); however, as there are always some employees in sight, it is possible to reach the intended place with ease. Location has a very good structure and state of the art equipment, great for medium and large events with a considerable audience. The auditorium is very spacious and is one of the highlights of the college.
