Na década de 50, já sob a direção de um de seus herdeiros, Alcides Cestari, a Cestari Industrial e Comercial S.A. lança sua linha de coroa e rosca, sendo pioneira na fabricação de redutores de velocidade no Brasil.
Em 1960, apresenta a linha Convencional, dedicada para aplicações mais pesadas nos segmentos de açúcar e álcool, mineração e siderurgia. E desde então, ampliou suas linhas para atender às necessidades dos demais mercados.
Em 2012, a Cestari Industrial e Comercial S.A. e a WEG S.A. se unem em uma joint venture, a WEG-CESTARI REDUTORES E MOTORREDUTORES S.A., para oferecer soluções completas em acionamentos.
In 1901, Luigi Cestari established himself in Monte Alto and began the construction of the Cestari brand with a small carpentry and saddlery business.
In the 50s, under the direction of one of his heirs, Alcides Cestari, Cestari Industrial and Comercial S.A. launches its crown and thread line, being a pioneer in the manufacture of speed reducers in Brazil.
In 1960, it presents the Conventional line, dedicated to heavier applications in the sugar and alcohol, mining and steel sectors. And since then, it has expanded its lines to meet the needs of other markets.
In 2012, Cestari Industrial e Comercial S.A. and WEG S.A. are united in a joint venture, WEG-CESTARI REDUTORES E MOTORREDUTORES S.A., to offer complete solutions in drives.
