I loved Ytarap, super cozy and beachy atmosphere, wonderful service, 10 music and amazing food! I recommend the portion of seafood (grillé) it serves 2 people very well and is great value for money! I will be back to try the paella and the burger!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fui comemorar meu aniversário nesse restaurante com meu namorado (negros) e mais dois amigos (brancos) e simplesmente amei. Gabriel quem nos atendeu é excelente profissional. Pedimos uma paella que estava maravilhosa e o drink Jorge amado delicioso. Retornei ao restaurante, no meu último dia de viagem, depois do horário do almoço e estava vazio e tranquilo. Assim que entramos eu e meu namorado, falamos que gostaríamos de ficar na área externa e atendente (Júlia) se não engano, uma garota ruivinha não deixou. Ela alegou que na área externa seria somente grupos com 4 ou 5 pessoas mesmo o local praticamente vazio. O Gabriel que tinha nos atendido dias antes, corrigiu a mocinha e disse que poderíamos, sim, ficar na área externa. Chegando lá, percebemos um casal sentados, e no tempo ficamos no local, tiveram outros casais. Nossa conclusão que o impedimento teve outro motivo, a cor da nossa pele ou a falta de pessoa branca conosco.
I went to celebrate my birthday at this restaurant with my boyfriend (black) and two more friends (white) and I just loved it. Gabriel who attended us is an excellent professional. We ordered a paella which was wonderful and the Jorge Amado drink delicious. I returned to the restaurant, on my last day of the trip, after lunch time and it was empty and quiet. As soon as my boyfriend and I entered, we said that we would like to stay in the outside area and the attendant (Júlia) if I'm not mistaken, a red-haired girl didn't let me. She claimed that the outside area would only be groups with 4 or 5 people even though the place was practically empty. Gabriel, who had attended to us days before, corrected the girl and said that we could, yes, stay in the outside area. Arriving there, we noticed a couple seated, and while we were there, there were other couples. Our conclusion that the impediment had another reason, the color of our skin or the lack of a white person with us.

Sai para procurar um lugar para almoçar com meu namorado e descobrimos o Ytarap, restaurante novo na região do centro histórico. Saímos completamente apaixonados pela experiência que o restaurante entrega: música ambiente maravilhosa (jazz e blues ao vivo no volume adequado ao momento); decoração rústica sem perder modernidade que torna o ambiente super aconchegante; cardápio diversificado e muito bem executado e, atendimento impecável.
Não deixem de experimentar o drink que leva espumante, licor de cassis e cereja; A pavlova de morango e o ceviche da casa.
Ah, sem esquecer da localização: fica em uma transversal a rua principal do centro histórico. Todos que vão a Paraty devem visitar. ;)
Certainly the greatest gastronomic find in Paraty;
I went out to look for a place to have lunch with my boyfriend and we discovered Ytarap, a new restaurant in the historic center region. We left completely in love with the experience that the restaurant delivers: wonderful ambient music (live jazz and blues at the appropriate volume for the moment); rustic decoration without losing modernity that makes the atmosphere super cozy; Diverse and very well executed menu and impeccable service.
Be sure to try the drink with sparkling wine, cassis liqueur and cherry; The strawberry pavlova and the house ceviche.
Oh, not forgetting the location: it's across the main street in the historic center. Everyone who goes to Paraty must visit. ;)

But the place is not client oriented. They charge extra for music (without any warnings or explanation). An artist just start playing and they charge extra 20 reals per person. Not much but doesn’t feel nice. Service is also extra charged and included in the bill. Feels like you come to a place where they just want to rob you.
Don’t recommend.
