Good quality aracajé, the portion was large, and the price was fair.

Good place to try different type of street food.

The most miserable cooks and the blandest food. Not sure what the hype is about. And a single portion of shrimps and acaraje was not enough for me, went across the square for a much better meal: tapioca.

Too much hype, but there's several other good places in the area that definitely w9rth it than this. Food wasn't great.

Third acarajé eaten in two days. This specialty is so good to be addictive and here I found it perfect. Light dough fried perfectly without any oily texture: just a crunchy, dry, delicious ball of pure taste. IMHO far better than Dinha's and others less famous I've tried.

This food stand is very popular, and has been here a long time. Anthony Bourdain ate here on “Parts Unknown”. Not to be contrary, but the acarajé was nothing special and I couldn’t recommend you try it for any reason other than because Anthony Bourdain ate here. There are many other acarajé stands near this one—I’d recommend you try one of the others.

The things we need to know about this place, which I didn't know, it is not a restaurant doesn't have place to sit other than a few public seat available. However there are couple of bars next to this place where you can sit and eat your Acaraje and order your drinks from them. They are OK with that and cool people serving and helping. As of May 2018 one acaraje with shrimps cost 10real. The taste is better than many other I have tried. If the weather is good you can also walk by the sea. Recomended area and eating place.

This is the most famous and reputedly most delicious acarajé stand in Salvador. Prices are very reasonable, R$13.50 for acarajé with shrimp served on a paper plate. Same price abará. Food was ready quickly and no line at 9pm on a Saturday night. As I'm not an expert on acarajé, I'll refer to the local opinion that this is the best place in Salvador. I found it to offer the same taste and quality as other places.
