★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am an American living part time in Salvador. I wanted to be able to stay in the country longer than the 90 day tourist visa allows. Amorim law firm was recommended to me by a friend. When I made the contact Giselle promptly responded. She meticulously reviewed each of my options for obtaining a more permanent visa. She and Heather assisted me with the process. They were very diligent, thorough and professional. They walked me through the process and helped me obtain all the documents that I would need. They kept me fully informed and even met me at the airport for the final interview with the federal police. I now have my visa because of the firm and specifically because of Giselle and Heather. I never could have done this alone even though I’m an attorney. They will be the first attorneys whom I will call if I’m in need of legal services!

I was introduced to Giselle and Heather at Amorim Law firm randomly through someone I met at the gym and using her services was the best decision I made.
It all started with a video call to understand my requirements, costs and timescales and after that everything just worked like clockwork. Her prices were reasonable and she even went as far as assisting my accountant to obtain documents from the central bank of Brazil that he had never had to get before, however with Giselles guidance and instruction he was able to get the documents quickly.
She let me know what documents she required from me and as soon as she received them she started work immediately, assisting me with my business plan and providing me with regular updates.
Applying for visas in Brazil can be tricky and stressful at times as there are a lot of documents required to get the process started but with Amorim law firm everything felt so easy.
Giselle and Heather both speak English and other European languages so her services are perfect for foreigners looking to obtain investor visas, marriage visas or require any other type of immigration services. They provide regular updates and respond to messages and emails in a timely manner which I was very surprised about as things are generally more laid back in Brazil.
Giselle guided me every step of the way and made sure that I understood what was required of me to prevent any delays.
She obtained my visa in less than 2 months without any problems at all.
Giselle met me at the airport just the other day to register with the federal police and to apply for my CRNM card, again with success. I am now have permanent status and will be collecting my CRNM card next month.
