★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Conheci a casa em 14 de outubro de 2021. Fui a noite para o forró. Entrada 10 pilas. A caixa me informou uma promo da caipirinha por 25 reais o combo com duas. Ao chegar no balcão para retirada, o barman informou que só seria possível entregar as duas de uma vez, num tom de voz agressivo. Como estva sozinho e queria tomar o drink, o jeito foi aceitar. Mas não voltaria no local.
 I visited the house on October 14, 2021. I went to forró at night. Entrance 10 pilasters. The cashier informed me of a caipirinha promo for 25 reais or a combo with two. Upon arriving at the counter for pick up, the bartender informed that it would only be possible to deliver the two at once, in an aggressive tone of voice. As I was alone and wanted to have a drink, the way was to accept. But would not return in place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Santo Antônio is my favorite bar in Arraial D'ajuda and I have been going there since it opened. They just started a bran new menu featuring Fine Steaks and my favorite Prime Rib in the world. The waitress suggested a Italian Cabernet Sauvignon that ended up being delicious with the meal. The melted cheese appetizer was amazing but my favorite was the marinated mushrooms. Such delicate flavors to welcome the arrival of the main dish. They never asked me how I wanted it cooked but I guess its only one true way to have it served. I was blown away by the presentation and the meat was simple mouth watering tender perfection with the perfect amount of essential seasoning. Decadence is a light word to describe this meal. Arraial D'ajuda is known for its health conscious restaurants but if you are craving something more abundant there is no other place. The food almost completely distracted me from the atmosphere but it is worth a mention that the decor is delightfully eclectic and they always seem to attract the best local musicians whether its Forro, Samba or Bosa Nova. If you want to get a hippest vibe of the town on the weekend this is the place. Locals mostly hang out here but if you are visiting it is definitely a must go to spot now more then ever with their expanded meny.
