Os pratos servidos são muito criativos e absolutamente deliciosos. Se eu tivesse mais tempo em Arraial voltaria mais vezes. Quem sabe um dia! Parabéns a toda equipe, esse restaurante tem tudo pra ser sucesso.
The place is super charming, with great taste, the chef is super talented and attentive. We followed Tábata's recommendation when choosing the drink and it was a success! The dishes served are very creative and absolutely delicious. If I had more time in Arraial, I would come back more often. Maybe one day! Congratulations to the entire team, this restaurant has everything to be successful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lugar super agradável, atendimento excelente da Raquel, bebidas perfeitas feitas pelo Daniel e os pratos do chefe Leo são perfeitos! Pedi entrada (não lembro o nome), prato principal o Mukusuy, o suco de tangeria, cacau e gengibre, a cajuína frizz e de sobremesa o brigadeiro. A experiência toda vale muito a pena, recomendo!
Super nice place, excellent service by Raquel, perfect drinks made by Daniel and chef Leo's dishes are perfect! I ordered the starter (I don't remember the name), the main course the Mukusuy, the tangerine juice, cocoa and ginger, the frizz cajuína and the brigadeiro for dessert. The whole experience is really worth it, I recommend it!

O restaurante é realmente diferenciado desde as entradas até os pratos, com ingredientes incomuns (meu prato foi uma lagosta com fruta-pão).
Os preços dos pratos em abril/2022 iam desde R$80 a R$150.
A carta de vinhos é boa, com opções a partir de R$100.
O ambiente é muito agradável, em uma antiga casa na praça da igreja, bem decorada.
O atendimento é correto e a proprietária super simpática.
Voltaria com certeza!
Best experience we had in Arraial!
The restaurant is really different from starters to mains, with unusual ingredients (my dish was a lobster with breadfruit).
The prices of dishes in April/2022 ranged from R$80 to R$150.
The wine list is good, with options starting at R$100.
The atmosphere is very pleasant, in an old house in the church square, well decorated.
The service is correct and the owner is super friendly.
Would definitely come back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Viemos comemorar um aniversário e achamos o jantar de 3 noites seguidas. O que nos fez parar de vir foi ter de voltar para casa, longe de Arraial. Não houve um prato ruim, com destaque para os dois pratos de atum - entrada e principal -, o ceviche (campeão de pedidos entre nós 4) e o Peixe da terra! Quem não come nada do mar, tem pratos de carne maravilhosos e os veganos tem cogumelos selecionados. Os drinks são um capítulo a parte! São poucas opções de sobremesas, mas todas interessantes. A campeão foi o sorvete de queijo com compota de goiaba e calda de jambu. ❤️ Na próxima vinda ao Arraial, Cajoá é destino certo!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cajoá is one of my most impressive experience during my stay in Arraial d'Ajuda. The owners and the chef de cuisine bring all their passion to food, drinks & style into their restaurant - I could litterally feel in every corner their dedication to the best products and services. The food was brilliant, every single meal an artwork and with exceptional taste. Also their idea of sustainabilty including a drink like the Biri Biri Caipirinha from the fruit growing directly over the customer's head on the tree in the patio. And the quiet patio itself is so beautiful decorated and gave my eyes an harminic picture between scenery of the location and cusine experience. I love this place - it felt like my personal extended dining&living room, where I always want to come back to relax and enjoy exceptional food in this heart-touching atmosphere with nice hosts and guests - like a family. Stay with your concept, Cajoà! I would give 6 stars, if that would be possible.
(I can not understand the previous comments on "slow" service as they call it - I was hosted so perfectly well and with personal service any time. Maybe on first days after opening not everything is perfect. But people have to understand, that excellent cooking needs also time, you can always openly see the chef working in the kitchen with all his dedictation and in great teamwork and the right way to treat the food in the best way for best result. So when you taste the dishes, you can feel all this and enjoy this place, where the menu feels like a poem and every dish enriches this poem by its special point - not only that every dish comes on an individual ceramic or wooden plate. Let yourself be positively surprised!)
