★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Getting to the bar itself is a whole experience, You go by local transit (of the favela, no ubers allowed) but everything is well taken care of. The bar is lovely with a beautifull view, good service and good food. The pricing is a bit high but well worth it for the overall experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When you like Caipirinha then you are on the right place here. A great view over Favelas. Do not miss it. How to reach? First go to Praça Do Vidigal by Taxi or Car (the most of them will not drive you to the bar). Then there are some guys they drive you by motorcycle through the Favelas. For me it was one of the most special moments in Rio de Janeiro. It was just amazing and unforgettable entertaining.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We loved it but getting there a bit tricky with bike rides. There is a shuttle that goes from leblon up to the bar. If anyone knows its schedule would you please post it in comments and where in leblon its departing from

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If I'm not mistaken this is only favela in Rio de Janeiro where tourist can go safely. You can get to the foot of the hill by bus or taxi. But that's it. From there only way up to the top is to take a ride on motorcycle or old school volkswagen Van by local favela residents. Please make sure you don't take any pictures or videos when you go up to the bar. They don't like it and you can have a problem. Bar in strangely on top of the hill in overcrowded favela. It's quite spacious with live music when we got there. View is unbelievable and service very fast. It was full there and everyone was drinking and we didn't wait for ours caipirinhas even 5 minutes. Food was good, but the view and atmosphere were out of this world. Great place, amazing drinks and food and very friendly people. When you are visiting Rio de Janeiro this is a must, ?%

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This to me was extreamly worth it! The bar is situated in the informal settlement " " with a panaramic view of Rio. The only access to the top is with a Taxi Motor bike as the streets are too narrow. The taxi bike fare was BR10 and to enter the bar was BR30. The hills are extreamly steep and not advised to video while getting to the top as you will not be able to hold on!! However of you have a head mounted go pro it would be epic! Furthermore the food and drinks at the bar was of high standard!
