★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stunning views of Rio. There is a lovely bar and hostel. Great atmosphere. Live music. I felt completely safe, however I must say that I was there with a group of friends including one who has been living there for over 2 years. I walked alone to the shops in the streets to look for freshly prepared Açaí sorbet and was welcomed by friendly people. Great experience. I recommend going but of course be streetwise.

Safe experience not to be missed if you’re in Rio.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Loved everything about it!! Amazing room, breathtaking views, super central, lucky there was a show so we got to attend a fantastic samba group. People very friendly and got to see a beautiful favela with its people from the inside. I would recommend to anyone

Apart from being located in a Favelah, this place has some others problems. Bad service, Bad food. Nothing special to eat here,just drink a very expensive caipirinha, enjoy the view and go.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An awesome place for Friday or Saturday nights, check out their Insta to see upcoming events. Often need to buy tickets in advance and they have local stars, samba and funk music. Friendly staff and stunning views!
You can take a taxi/Uber to Vidigal and then a mototáxi or one of the minibuses for low cost.
