★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Embora o atendimento se dê por uma simpática funcionária que procura trazer de forma clara informações sobre as espécies e seu ciclo de vida e reprodução, a decepção ficou por conta do irrisório número de espécies. Pasmem: só havia 3 espécies de borboletas num borboletário da importante cidade de São Luís, capital do Maranhão. No jardim de minha casa, área urbana de uma capital estadual, recebo diariamente a visita de um número bem maior de espécies. Espero que essa boa iniciativa do governo maranhense seja melhorada com a ampliação do local e a aquisição de mais espécies no futuro (em outubro/21 só havia a borboleta imperial, a olho de coruja e a borboleta de asa amarela; diga-se de passagem, 3 das espécies mais encontradas no Brasil inteiro).
Although the service is provided by a friendly employee who seeks to provide clear information about the species and their life and reproduction cycle, the disappointment was due to the derisory number of species. Amazingly: there were only 3 species of butterflies in a butterfly house in the important city of São Luís, capital of Maranhão. In the garden of my house, an urban area of a state capital, I receive visits from a much larger number of species on a daily basis. I hope that this good initiative by the Maranhão government is improved with the expansion of the site and the acquisition of more species in the future (in October/21 there was only the imperial butterfly, the owl's eye and the yellow wing butterfly; by the way, , 3 of the most found species in the whole of Brazil).
