★ ★ ★ ★ ★ O começo da trilha, que é também a parte final, exige bastante cuidado, atenção e esforço, mas tirando isso você consegue aproveitar bastante o passeio, a natureza, a vista lá do alto, principalmente quando chega na cachoeira porque você consegue ter uma visão maravilhosa.
 The beginning of the trail, which is also the final part, requires a lot of care, attention and effort, but apart from that you can really enjoy the walk, nature, the view from above, especially when you reach the waterfall because you can have a view Wonderful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Apesar de termos ido em um período extremamente chuvoso (dezembro), foi uma experiência única, com uma trilha de 12 km (ida + volta), trechos com água na canela e subidas muito íngremes.
Although we went in an extremely rainy period (December), it was a unique experience, with a 12 km trail (round trip), stretches with water in the shin and very steep climbs.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Yes you dont need a guide. The trail is even visible on google maps so imagine how clear it is in real life. So its fine with out a guide.
Yes first 1h is up the hill but doable.
Hiking shoes recommended.
There is one key part on the trail, there is like a pond at some point (where you will find uncompleted bridge) and there are 2 ways to cross. Either walk through the water which I saw the guides are asking their guests to do. Or which I did was once you are facing the bridge go on the left side inside the forest by the pond and walk parallel to pond until its over. Preferably to arrive there 11AM so that you can be alone otherwise it will be crowded and you will wait your time to be taken a pic. Or you will in the pic with others. Starting at 9AM was perfect to me. Deffinitely bring extra t-shirt to change if you don't like keeping the wet one on and minimum a litre of water. Some small snacks would be nice to keep the blood pressure/sugar stable.
In total it takes 10k+10k almost but even for kids who can walk it is doable. Extra care to them especially when you reach the waterfall. If it is a sunny day don't forget your sunscreens. I did forget today and it's like an explosion next to my face although it has been partially sunny. They ask donation at the entrance and I gave 10 real but even 5 is too much for them. They have done nothing but nothing for this trail. No single sign, they didn't even warn us or informed us about that water pond. On the way back i asked them what do they do about all these donations the answer was pretty much nothing but mainly they wait if somethings happens to someone to rescue. Which sounds like a fair reason but when I asked any certificate they showed me one safety traning picture! So i think they will just call someone to come rescue you.
After all ,highly recommended place. Highly, approx 300 metre :)
