★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Average coffee. We ordered two different cold coffees, and they seemed somewhat different to the advertised menu (one seemed to have liquor and the other had chocolate even though it wasn’t mentioned on the menu). The coffee itself didn’t taste that great.
Nice ambience, and staff seem friendly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice place in historical center. Very friendly service. They have tables on the street so you can chill out, have coffee and watch people go by. I tried the pingado with cachaça and it was interesting. Quite strong actually. A must tried just for its uniqueness.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst Cappuccino since a long time, it was coffee with milk (zero foam) and the coffee taste was really not good. Additionally it is a cafe house without wifi.. On the other hand the chocolate cake was just amazing! Mixed feeling..

We always come here for breakfast/lunch. They have kind and fast service, excellent choices from the menu, and the food is very good. There are a few tables located outside where you can sit down, drinking your coffee and enjoying the historical center of Paraty.
Inside there are many fans which is extremely appreciated in Pataty’s hot and humid weather, unfortunately dogs are not allowed inside, even our small educated Jack Russel. Not a worry though, outside is where you want to be.
Food is of excellent quality, I highly recommend the classic brigadero as a sweet. Orange juice is tasty and fresh. If I recall correctly, “pão de ervas” is an amazing sandwich they offer, best I’ve had in Paraty so far. The espresso is great.
