★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice little spot, but we’ve had multiple issues there after living on the block and visiting a few times. The drinks are often watered down or seem to not have alcohol in them. We had one good bartender who made us whiskey drinks very well and treated us nicely who was fired apparently for making whiskey drinks that weren’t on the menu. He was super nice and was really the only reason we went back. Today was our last visit. They offer a “Moscow Mule” but they don’t have ginger beer. Nowhere on the menu is it listed that it’s made with tonic water and ginger foam. A Brazilian version of a cocktail is fine, but if you list a drink under “traditional cocktails” and make it completely untraditional then you should expect some bad reviews. On top of this the owner is also very rude and abrupt. I’d recommend walking a few blocks toward the beach and going somewhere better.

One star off because service was too slow; another star off due to the condition of their bathroom.
On the upside: they ask for covid vaccination certificate, which is great.
