★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice museum with great video and nice staff that spoke passable english. Also great view from the top terrace. Only negative is you can only go one way, I was approached when I went back to get my stuff I had in a locker, saying I couldn't look at the books in the library (which is before you go inside). Somewhat absurd.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Casa do Carnaval da Bahia is a fun and interesting museum. Tours are offered in several languages. Normally it is a self guided audio tour, but due to the pandmemic my group got a personally guided tour.
The museum gives you the history and origins of Caranval in Brazil. You also learn how Bahia was the original home of Carnaval in Brazil. You also learn what makes Carnaval celebrations in Salvador da Bahia unique and different compared to other Carnaval celebrations in Brazil.
