De frente de uma bela praça e localizada bem no centro da cidade, todo fim de ano ocorre a festa da padroeira e a igreja é atração central da festa que conta com várias atrações religiosas e artistas regionais. Aos arredores instala-se barracas de produtos variados que vão desde feirinha de artesanato até carrinhos e barracas de alimentação.
