★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fui visitar o cemitério com outros colegas da universidade para procurar inscrições em latim nas lápides. Encontramos muita coisa interessante. O espaço é bem amplo e bem organizado. Os jazigos perpétuos tem uma belo desenho arquitetônico e não há cheiro ruim no ambiente, além de ser bem arborizado. A equipe que nos atendeu designou um funcionário para os acompanhar e foram bastante solícitos.
 I went to visit the cemetery with other university colleagues to look for Latin inscriptions on the headstones. We found a lot of interesting things. The space is very large and well organized. The perpetual deposits have a beautiful architectural design and there is no bad smell in the environment, besides being well wooded. The team that served us appointed an employee to accompany them and they were very helpful.

Although not a common tourist route, it has a collection of beautiful cemetery art. Old and new pieces of great artistic value, from the church itself, to the ornaments of the tombs. it's worth visiting

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Existe um passeio cultural pelo cemitério. Os mausoléus possuem esculturas belíssimas, sobretudo na parte central. Para quem gosta de escultura vale a pena fazer o passeio, para quem tem interesse pela história de Salvador, muitas pessoas e famílias que fizeram parte da história estão enterradas neste local. Existe entrada acessível (elevador hidráulico para entrada de cadeirante), mas nem todo o local é de fácil acesso, há escadas e caminhos estreitos. De forma geral peca um pouco manutenção, já que muitos jazigos perpétuos, mausoléus, estátuas e caminhos se encontram em más condições de conservação.
There is a cultural tour through the cemetery. The mausoleums have beautiful sculptures, especially in the central part. For those who like sculpture it is worth taking the tour, for those who are interested in the history of Salvador, many people and families who were part of the history are buried in this place. There is an accessible entrance (hydraulic lift for wheelchair access), but not the whole place is easily accessible, there are stairs and narrow paths. In general, it requires a little maintenance, since many perpetual deposits, mausoleums, statues and paths are in poor condition.
