★ ★ ★ ★ ★ O Centro de Ciências e Planetário do Pará é uma unidade de ensino e divulgação de ciências e matemática vinculada à Universidade do Estado do Pará. Foi reinaugurado em outubro de 2012 a partir de uma reformulação do já existente Planetário Sebastião Sodré da Gama, fundado em 30 de setembro de 1999, expandindo a atuação educativa com a criação de novos espaços expositivos com instrumentos interativos e audiovisuais.
Conta com uma cúpula de projeção de planetário (planetário ótico mecânico Zeissmodelo ZKP-3) com capacidade para 100 pessoas e ambientes interativo-expositivos de astronomia e geologia, física, química, matemática, evolução (incluindo exemplares de fósseis do Pará e de outras regiões) e biodiversidade, além de realizar exposições temporárias. Em maio de 2017 inaugurou a exposição permanente "bioculturalidade", a partir da colaboração com o Herbário Profª Drª Marlene Freitas da Silva da mesma universidade, com o objetivo de divulgar a etnobiologia, a etnobotânica e a relação da espécie humana com o ambiente natural. Conta também com biblioteca aberta à população e auditório. Em 2017 esteve entre os cinco mais visitados museus da região norte.
The Center of Science and Planetarium of Pará is a unit of teaching and dissemination of science and mathematics linked to the University of the State of Pará. It was reopened in October 2012 as a result of a redesign of the already existing Sebastião Sodré da Gama Planetarium, founded on September 30, 1999, expanding educational activities with the creation of new exhibition spaces with interactive and audiovisual instruments.
It has a planetary projection dome (Zeissmodelo ZKP-3 mechanical optics planetarium) with capacity for 100 people and interactive astronomical environments and geology, physics, chemistry, mathematics, evolution (including fossil specimens from Pará and other regions ) and biodiversity, in addition to temporary exhibitions. In May 2017, the permanent exhibition "bioculturality" was inaugurated in collaboration with Herbário Prof. Dr. Marlene Freitas da Silva of the same university, in order to promote ethnobiology, ethnobotany and the relationship between the human species and the natural environment. It also has a library open to the public and an auditorium. In 2017 it was among the five most visited museums in the northern region.

Espero que o governo pare de mandar verba pra esse lugar inútil e vazio. Tomara que fique interditado de novo por um bom tempo! Abraço.
The last time I visited this drug was in 2018. Employees, scientists and other professionals are very rude (especially women). I hope the government stops sending money to this useless, empty place. I hope it will be banned again for a long time! Hug.

Quando postam nas redes sociais sobre visitação e inscrição em link,dão a entender que a visitação é gratuita e NÃO é,há uma bilheteria no local onde é cobrada a entrada.
A cúpula foi onde mais gostei,porém todos os espaços são muitos criativos,muita informação por toda parte.
I was curious to visit and I really enjoyed it. Good reception and very attentive advisors.
When they post on social media about visitation and registration in a link, they imply that visitation is free and it is NOT, there is a box office at the place where entry is charged.
The dome was where I liked the most, but all the spaces are very creative, lots of information everywhere.
