★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A construção Capela de Nossa Senhora das Dores, em terreno doado pela Irmandade do Santíssimo Sacramento de Antônio Dias, foi iniciativa da Irmandade de Nossa Senhora das Dores do Calvário, constituída em 1768 na Matriz de Antônio Dias, por membros da Irmandade Dolorosa de Braga, que residiam em Vila Rica. Confraria até 1863, passa nessa data a ordem terceira. A primitiva capela teve permissão para sua construção em 1775. Erguida no mesmo local da atual, apenas um pouco recuado, foi construída em 1783 por um arquiteto desconhecido, toda em pau-a-pique. A atual capela de pedra é datada de 1835.
The construction of the Chapel of Nossa Senhora das Dores, on land donated by the Brotherhood of the Blessed Sacrament of Antônio Dias, was an initiative of the Brotherhood of Nossa Senhora das Dores do Calvário, constituted in 1768 at the Matriz de Antônio Dias, by members of the Brotherhood Dolorosa of Braga, who lived in Vila Rica. Brotherhood until 1863, the third order passed on that date. The primitive chapel was allowed to be built in 1775. Built in the same location as the current one, only a little back, it was built in 1783 by an unknown architect, all in wood. The current stone chapel is dated 1835.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A Capela fica próximo a Casa da família de Marília, por isso dizem que ela frequentava essa Capelinha. Localizada no alto de uma ladeira, é bem simples, porém estava fechada e precisa de um restauro. A vista que se tem lá do alto é maravilhosa

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A Igreja de Nossa Senhora das Dores fica bem próxima da Igreja de Santa Efigênia, então vale a pena dar uma passada por lá. O mirante junto a igreja reúne uma vista muito bonita, e a volta para o centro (se for feita a pé) é bem bonitinha, as ruas exclusivas para pedestres são muito bonitinhas. Leve água e vá com um tênis confortável, pois a subida é intensa, e as pedras das ruas pode machucar os pés se o tênis não ajudar.
The Church of Nossa Senhora das Dores is very close to the Church of Santa Efigênia, so it is worth visiting. The viewpoint next to the church has a very beautiful view, and the walk back to the center (if done on foot) is very cute, the pedestrian-only streets are very cute. Take water and go with comfortable sneakers, as the climb is intense, and the stones from the streets can hurt your feet if sneakers don't help.
