★ ★ ★ ★ ★ De Ascenso Ferreira só li o que está na placa, Noturno, e achei muito bom! E sua história é a de muitos, que veio do interior e foi ficando.
Sempre gostei dessa estátua e como ela está eternamente contemplando o rio e o movimento da cidade, como se esperando algo acontecer: o arrebatamento, uma invasão ou o céu sangrar enquanto o chão se abre e cospe fogo. Também acho que ele fica de olho naquelas estátuas pomposas e nem um pouco confiáveis que estão na ponte, como se tirando o serviço delas, só ligado.

I've always liked this statue and how it is eternally contemplating the river and the movement of the city, as if waiting for something to happen: the rapture, an invasion or the sky bleeding as the ground opens up and spits fire. I also think he keeps an eye on those pompous and unreliable statues that are on the bridge, as if taking off their service, just plugged in.
