★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pediatra desatualizada. Recomendou desmame precoce (antes dos dois anos de idade) para a introdução de leite artificial (a recomendação da Organização Mundial de Saúde é que o bebê-criança seja amamentada até, pelo menos, 2 anos de idade).
Foi desrespeitosa com meu filho, ele é um bebê de 20 meses e estava há 9 meses sem ir à consulta pediátrica, por conta da pandemia. Ficou muito assustado, chorou e ela falando que aquilo era uma vergonha. Enfim.
E ainda foi elitista, disse que amamentar depois do 1° ano de idade é só pra quem mora na favela. Quando respondi que eu era moradora de periferia, ficou super sem graça.
Passar bem longe.

I was disrespectful to my son, he is a 20-month-old baby and had not been to the pediatric consultation for 9 months, due to the pandemic. He was very scared, he cried and she said that it was a shame. Anyway.
And he was still elitist, said that breastfeeding after the 1st year of age is only for those who live in the favela. When I replied that I was a peripheral resident, it was super embarrassing.
