★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After decades of playing Brazilian music in Europe and the USA, I came to Rio to study Bossa Nova and its roots. Studio 9 opened my eyes. Its owner studied and lived in LA and performed in the USA for 8 years before coming back to Rio and founding Studio 9. It is impressive and a gift to know such wise and at the same time good-hearted people as they can be found in this Studio. I highly recommend any musician on the planet who gets a chance to be in Rio to come by Studio 9 and get inspired.
