★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the new location of the Detran facilities in Barra da Tijuca, which used to be in the Cebolão (Avenida das Américas and Avenida Ayrton Senna). The new location is hard to get to, for those who come from south Barra. Easier for those who com from Jacarepaguá and north. Once you get there you'll find that it's relatively well organized and that service doesn't take long.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fast and Easy...Friendly ...was only there 15 minutes...The hard part is finding Detran.....dont use Google maps it will take you to the airport and Detran is in Aerowood Shopping off the street behind other shops watch closely for the Blue Sign??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The new location of the yearly auto inspection facility in Barra is better located than it used to be.
There was a car queue to reach the documents checking booth but not that long; inspection itself ended quickly but to get the new papers does take a while - be prepared to test your patience.
All in all, one must admit service bettered, but could still be improved.
