★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The 3-day Pati valley was amazing!
My childdreams of crossing the jungle over rivers and mountains, and through caves came true. Without the lovely guide Enrique I would have never been able to reach these places and to survive in the jungle. The food during the trekking was lovely.
Enrique provided us with good geographical information; how the current mountains and the fauna came to existence in the past.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We booked two days of touring with Diamantina Mountain tours and enjoyed every minute of it. Our tour guide Enrique was friendly and knowledgeable and very easy to get on with. The area is amazing and having a good tour service really adds to your experience.
Louise and Pieter were very easy to deal with through the booking process, etc. We'd definitely recommend their tours.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We did a 3 day hike and a 1 day hike. Very good service by Pieter. The hike was amazing and unforgettable. The views even more spectacular. We will go back and we are sure that we contact Diamantina mountains again. The 3 day hike was to the Pati valley with a guide called Jean. A very experience guide and changes the hike to your needs. I think its very important on a long hike that you have a "connection" with your guide to get the maximum out of your trip... no negative points... We strongly recommend Pieter and his guides!!!
The 1day hike was with Pieter himself to Poco do Diabo (Devil's Pit) and Morro do Pai Inácio. truly amazing!!!! the sunset whas spectacular at Pai Inácio and whe did the jump at Poco do Diabo from the waterfall...!!! (i never, ever took the time to fill in a commend on the internet but this was such a positive, pleasant trip and stay).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We did the 3 day Pati Valley trek with Diamantina Mountains last week and had such a great time. The trek itself was incredible with beautiful views throughout. Our guide knew the park so well (and was asked by others for directions a few times!) so we felt well looked after. The accommodation with locals was clean and comfortable and the food was great. The end to end organisation from the company made the whole process smooth and easy, with all questions answered quickly and helpfully by Graziela, to getting picked up and dropped off at the station in Lencois by Pieter. Would highly recommend both the trek and the company.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We just finished a 3 days trekking with Pieter from Diamantina Mountains in the Patti Valey (about a 2 hours drive from Lençois) and were very fortunate to have him as our tour guide in this remote and stunning area. Very helpful, encouraging and patient guide, providing us with surprisingly great lunches. We also enjoyed being hosted by locals in the Patti Valley and learn about their lives. Hope to make it once more to this lovely place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We took the 3 days trek with Diamantina Mountains. Peter, the manager, took care of all the organisation. He provides us everything we needed for the camping (tents, mastress and sleeping bags) and gave us all the information about the tour: everything was clear and very well organised from the beginning to the end.
After having a quick appointment the day before (to take the material we needed) and answer the last questions we had, it is Pedro that took care of us the day after and during all the trek.
Pedro knows the place very well and has a great experience in group guiding. He cooked for us every night and has everytime good stories to tell about Chapada Dimantina. The food was excellent, the guide too: he gaves us a good tempo from the breakfast to the end of the day.
We really appreciate that!
Everyday we had a moment to enjoy the waterfalls after walking. It was a wonderful experience we had with all the team of Diamantina Mountains, I will recommand it at 1'000%!

We learned a lot of thing about the Chapada Diamantina Mountains. We’ve made three treks: cave tours, Pati Valley and Mosquito/Poço Azul tour. Amazing experience ! Everything was perfect: jeep and driver, walks, lunch/pic nic...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Where to begin? We booked 3 tours and ended up canceling the third one because the destinations we chose became unavailable due to heavy rains. The positives: The guides spoke English well and were polite. The destinations were great. The lunches were tasty. The negatives: The vehicles were old with broken doors, windows and seatbelts. The guides sped up to 40 km over the posted limits and passed large trucks in a dangerous fashion. On our second tour, the guide was over 20 minutes late and once we were picked up we had to stop for gas. Our second guide smoked during the tour. On the return trip we also had to stop so the guide could fill the tires with air. I think for the price we paid, the cars should have been in working order before getting picked up. We also paid for three lunches that were never delivered. When we inquired about what had happened to the lunches they said they forgot.
