★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fizemos reserva alguns dias antes de conhecer o lugar, especificando mesa na varanda. Ao chegar no restaurante, não haviam mesas disponíveis, o rapaz que nos recebeu parecia perdido quanto às reservas pois chegaram mais 2 casais relatando ter reservado e também estavam sem mesa. Ficamos esperando em pé durante cerca de 30 minutos até que nos conseguissem uma mesa. Ao sentar, esperamos mais 20 minutos até que um garçom viesse higienizar a mesa e anotar nosso pedido. Mais 15min para trazer o vinho solicitado. Pensei em ir embora mas como já havia esperado tanto tempo, resolvi ficar.
Graças a Deus a comida é excelente, de ótima qualidade (o que salvou o almoço). Pedimos entrada de carpaccio de mignon com pães para entrada e, como prato principal, uma picanha acompanhada de risoto ao funghi, que estavam excepcionalmente saborosos.
Então, dica: Chegue bem antes do horário reservado, vá sem fome e com paciência para esperar.
 We made a reservation a few days before getting to know the place, specifying a table on the balcony. Upon arriving at the restaurant, there were no tables available, the guy who received us seemed lost as to the reservations because 2 more couples arrived reporting they had booked and were also without a table. We waited standing for about 30 minutes until they got us a table. When we sat down, we waited another 20 minutes until a waiter came to clean the table and took our order. Another 15min to bring the requested wine. I thought about leaving but as I had already waited so long, I decided to stay.
Thank goodness the food is excellent, of great quality (which saved lunch). We ordered mignon carpaccio starter with breads for starter and, as a main dish, a picanha with funghi risotto, which were exceptionally tasty.
So, tip: Arrive well before the scheduled time, go without hunger and with patience to wait.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sempre que eu e minha família nos hospedamos em Pedra Azul visitamos o restaurante Don Calmon. A localização é excelente, com uma bela vista para a Pedra Azul. Possui uma boa diversidade de pratos, em especial massas e carnes. O bife ancho é simplesmente incrível! Os valores são adequados aos pratos servidos, bem como ao local e os frequentadores. Recomendo a todos visitar o Don Calmon!
Whenever my family and I stay in Pedra Azul, we visit the Don Calmon restaurant. The location is excellent, with a beautiful view of Pedra Azul. It has a good variety of dishes, especially pasta and meat. The ancho steak is just amazing! The values are appropriate to the dishes served, as well as to the place and the regulars. I recommend everyone to visit Don Calmon!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tivemos uma boa experiência no restaurante. Fomos em um sábado a noite e o mesmo estava cheio. O atendimento é bom, porém os garçons podem ser melhor treinados para condizer com o padrão do restaurante. Os preços dos vinhos não é ruim. Os pratos que pedimos vieram bem servidos porém sentimos que faltou um pouco mais de tempero. No geral gostamos e condiz com o que é oferecido na região.
We had a good experience at the restaurant. We went on a Saturday night and it was full. The service is good, but the waiters can be better trained to match the restaurant's standards. Wine prices not bad. The dishes we ordered came well served but we felt that it lacked a little more seasoning. In general, we like it and it matches what is offered in the region.

A rota do lagarto se perdeu um pouco a sistematização e interesses puramente financeiros deixando um pouco de lado as origens e cultura local mas esse restaurante chama minha atenção não apenas pelo cardápio e adega mas o fato da propriedade estar a gerações na mesma família. Os valores não são abusivos em relação aos ambientes "mimimi" da rota do lagarto, vale a pena um visita.
In my opinion it is one of the best places to have lunch in Pedra Azul. The route of the lizard lost a little systematization and purely financial interests leaving a little aside the origins and local culture but this restaurant draws my attention not only for the menu and wine cellar but the fact that the property has been in the same family for generations. The values are not abusive in relation to the "mimimi" environments of the lizard route, it is worth a visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Comida, atendimento e ambiente maravilhosos!!! Um cantinho de charme fora da rota do Lagarto!!! Vista privilegiada para a Pedra do Lagarto. Os pedidos foram: nhoque de baroa com angus, risoto de alho poró com angus ao molho funghi e de sobremesa cheesecake de morango.
Wonderful food, service and atmosphere!!! A charming corner off the Lagarto route!!! Privileged view of Pedra do Lagarto. The orders were: baroa gnocchi with angus, leek risotto with angus in funghi sauce and strawberry cheesecake for dessert.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We sat for 15 minutes before any waiter even acknowledged us. They then took another 15 minutes to bring our drinks, and as I sit here, it has been 80 minutes since we ordered PASTA and nothing. Our drinks are empty and the wait staff just keeps walking by paying to attention to our table. I would not recommend this place AT ALL.
