Após o implante coclear ele passou a ter uma vida social melhor, bem como comunicação melhorou 99,9 %.

My husband had cochlear implant surgery with Dr. Felipe Felix about 5 years ago. Since then it was possible to inspect a significant improvement in his life, as he had a severe disability.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dr. Felippe e toda a sua equipe foram instrumentos de Deus pra restaurar minha saúde auditiva. Minha gratidão por essa equipe tão talentosa, cuidadosa nos mínimos detalhes, será eterna. Segue um breve ( longo rs ) relato de como foi minha ativação do Implante Coclear.
Perdi a audição aos 3 anos de idade, hoje tenho 38 ( 35 anos de surdez profunda).
Minha cirurgia ocorreu no dia 13/09/21, correu tudo muito bem!
Agendei a ativação no dia 15/10 ,foi o dia que ativei o aparelho. Barulhos muito alto. Mas incompreensíveis ainda pra mim.
Coisas q eu nem imaginava q fazia tanto barulho.
Como a agua caindo no copo. O avião passando la no alto. Abrir e fechar de porta. Eu faço muito barulho subindo a escada ? eu estou realmente apavorada com tanto barulho kkkk gente tudo faz barulho e alto. Tem sons q eu fico perdida. Perguntando o q e isso, para as pessoas. As vezes é o som do vento ? gente vento tem som kkkk como assim ? ? tudo muito novo pra mim. Meu cérebro esta meio perdido com tanta informação. A voz das pessoas ainda sai um som metálico robótico, como se o microfone tivesse ruim. Todas as pessoas tem essa mesma voz. O fonoaudiólogo disse que nas primeiras semanas será assim. Ate ele ativar outros programas. Porque são muitos sons e eu realmente ficarei muito perdida.
Então não consigo entender a fala ainda. O som sai com microfonia ruim, é o que dá a impressão. Mas sei quando qualquer pessoa esta falando. Até a vizinha ? eu ontem a noite perguntando pra Luana, minha filha, se ela estava em ligação com alguém. Ela disse q não. E nem estava ouvindo alguém falar. Ai ela foi lá pra fora e ficou procurando esse som. Ai depois mandou eu chegar perto do muro pra ver se era isso q eu estava ouvindo de longe. E era. A vizinha estava falando ao telefone. ? eu estuo assustada kkkkk mas muito feliz. Existe um mundo de sons e eu vou usufruir tudo isso. Deus é bom em todo o tempo ????? um dia de cada vez. Ansiosa para o primeiro mapeamento, mês que vem. Cada vez os sons vão ficando mais nítidos. ???????

I lost my hearing when I was 3 years old, today I am 38 (35 years of profound deafness).

I scheduled the activation on 10/15, it was the day I activated the device. Very loud noises. But still incomprehensible to me.
Things that I didn't even know it made so much noise.
Like water falling into a glass. The plane passing it at the top. Door opening and closing. I make a lot of noise going up the stairs ? I'm really scared of so much noise hahaha people everything is noisy and loud. There are sounds that I get lost. Asking what is this, for people. Sometimes it's the sound of the wind ? people wind has a sound kkkk what do you mean? It's all very new to me. My brain is kind of lost with so much information. People's voices still come out a robotic metallic sound, as if the microphone is bad. Everyone has that same voice. The speech therapist said that in the first weeks it will be like that. Until he activates other programs. Because it's a lot of sounds and I'm really going to get lost.
So I can't understand the speech yet. The sound comes out with bad feedback, that's what gives the impression. But I know when anyone is talking. Even my neighbor last night asking Luana, my daughter, if she was in contact with anyone. She said no. And I wasn't even listening to anyone speak. Then she went outside and was looking for that sound. Then he told me to get close to the wall to see if that was what I was hearing from afar. And was. The neighbor was talking on the phone. ? I'm scared kkkkk but very happy. There's a world of sounds and I'm going to enjoy it all. God is good at all times ????? one day at a time. Looking forward to the first mapping next month. Each time the sounds get clearer. ???????
