★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I contacted English Language Solutions (ELS) as an Australian Citizen wanting to live in Brazil and study Portuguese, the school had been recommended to me by an Australian friend.
From the first time I contacted ELS I felt welcomed and supported by the team, they were responsive and helpful to my many emails and questions. Nothing was too much trouble, the staff even assisted with my Student Visa application.
The ELS staff are genuine people that care about you, and as the staff are welcoming and friendly this makes learning so much easier and fun.
The educators are knowledgeable and easy to talk with, they have good rapport with their students which is why I look forward to attending class each day.
Steven is more than accommodating and Vivian is always there to help, from day to day issues to assisting immensely with my student Visa application.
Patricia is a great teacher who’s able to recognise when I am completely lost which can be quite often! I have already learnt so much from her, and reached a level that I did not think possible.
If you would like to be educated by genuine people that care about you and go out of their way choose ELS.
I am happy to be a part of ELS.

The teachers are excellent and will go above and beyond to help you in the difficult process of language learning. Also, it's just a really fun environment for learning!

In my four months in Brazil, my Portuguese went from 0.5 to ~4.0 (on a scale of 1 to 10) through the combination of group classes and one-on-one tutoring. Started only speaking in the present tense and basically butchering the language, to being able to converse relatively well with my Brazilian family and friends. My instructors, Patricia and Julianna, were great!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I cannot say enough positive things about my Portuguese instructor at ELS - Viviane Avelar. I have studied Portuguese for many years and she is by far the best teacher I have ever had! She makes learning fun and customizes lessons to my interests and needs. The school in general does an excellent job of creating a fun learning environment. I always feel at home at ELS and am grateful for the friendships I have developed through the school. You can't find a better-priced language school, especially considering its high quality services.

The course is thorough and engaging and my language skills have improved dramatically. Class sizes are small and the teaching is excellent. The location is also a plus and I've made some great friendships through the school. I would thoroughly recommend to any foreigner looking to learn Portuguese or any other foreign language.

They started me off with an interview to know where my level was at in Portuguese and they soon there after matched me with the perfect teacher. Now, I have had the teacher named Cris for about 2 months and I have already moved up one level. She is incredible!! Thank you ELS!!
