★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The buildings has the neocolonial architecture project from the late XIX century, although they have been built in the early of 1910. The campus and also the buildings are very beautiful, unfortunately they are not very preserved. From Rio De Janeiro downtown, it is about 100 kms to get there, more than 2 hours by car due to the traffic. The landscape there has group of trees, some animals as horses, cows, dogs and a big diversity of birds. The best hours to appreciate the birds flying is early in the morning or late afternoon. If you are not a reasearcher, professor, student or university employee, maybe you access for some buildings be restricted, so, don't get disappointed by this.
