★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Um pedaço da história, que infelizmente hoje está mal cuidado e esquecido no tempo. Ainda restam uns prédios antigos, porém em sua maioria abandonados. A escadaria é um dos acessos à região mais elevada do centro histórico da cidade ("Cidade Alta"), área onde está localizada a Catedral Metropolitana de Vitória, o Hospital da AFPES (Associação dos Funcionários Públicos do Espírito Santo), Galeria Homero Massena, entre outros. Próximo ao acesso da escadaria, ainda na parte alta, existem dois bares, um ao lado do outro, que servem a cerveja mais gelada possível na região. Principalmente em dias quentes, vale sentar numa de suas mesas, postas à rua, pedir uma cerveja e curtir o momento, cercado de construções antigas e outras mais recentes.

Especially on hot days, it's worth sitting at one of its tables, set out on the street, ordering a beer and enjoying the moment, surrounded by old buildings and more recent ones.
