★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sou frequentador de sebos há muitos anos e poucas vezes vi um lugar ser tão caro! Fiquei apavorado com os preços, totalmente fora da realidade. Não sei o critério que utilizam mas muitas vezes é melhor comprar um livro novo na Amazon do que em sebos desse tipo. Tenho a impressão que não querem vender nada mas é opção deles. Fiquem lá com o acervo incrível com preços exorbitantes.
 I've been an asshole for many years, and few times I've seen a place so expensive! I was terrified of the prices, totally out of the reality. I do not know the criteria they use but it is often better to buy a new book on Amazon than in such fats. I have the impression that they do not want to sell anything but it is their option. Stay there with incredible collection with exorbitant prices.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ É complicado: fui em 4 sebos. 2 não tinham os livros que queria. O terceiro tinha só metade. Este sebo tinha TODOS. Entretanto, os livros estavam com um preço muito alto para um sebo. Mais caros que livros novos (com frete!). Comprei só um porque gostei da qualidade do livro e sua raridade. Mas enfim, pelos preços altíssimos, compensa mais comprar um livro novo numa livraria ou online. Sobre o atendimento, não tenho do que reclamar.
It's complicated: I went in 4 talons. 2 did not have the books they wanted. The third had only half. This sebum had EVERYONE. However, the books were priced too high for a tallow. More expensive than new books (with shipping!). I bought only one because I liked the quality of the book and its rarity. But, for the sky-high prices, it's better to buy a new book in a bookstore or online. About the service, I have nothing to complain about.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Péssima experiência em 02/03/2020. Passei pra comprar um atlas de anatomia (por sinal carissimo), usado, por 600 reais (Netter). Pedobroa ver a edição. Ela disse que só teria o trabalho de buscar se fosse comprar mesmo. Rude e preguiçosa. Disse a ela que se a compra era obrigatória ao ver a edição eu não queria. Ela disse "tchau". Fui no sebo do lado e comprei, bem mais barato, limpo e organizado.
Bad experience on 3/2/2020. I went to buy a used anatomy atlas (by the way), for 600 reais (Netter). Pedobroa see the edition. She said she would only have the job of looking for it if she was going to buy it. Rude and lazy. I told her that if the purchase was mandatory to see the edition I didn't want to. She said "bye". I went to the next store and bought it, much cheaper, clean and organized.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A minha experiência não foi boa!!! Estacionar ali? Só se for bem longe... As pessoas são simpáticas, mas o valor dos livros é um absurdo!!! Custa exatamente a mesma coisa que um livro novo... Teve um que estava até mais caro que o novo, simplesmente R$250,00 sendo o novo R$180,00. Sai com as mãos totalmente pretas, os livros ñ tem cuidado é deixado lá na prateleira e pronto! Muito sujo!!! Procurei outro lugar, acabei achando o livro em perfeito estado, parece que ninguém nunca nem o leu, peguei da prateleira estava limpo, lindo e custou R$40,00 #ficaadica
My experience was not good !!! Park there? Only if you go far ... People are nice, but the value of books is absurd !!! It costs exactly the same thing as a new book ... There was one that was even more expensive than the new one, simply R $ 250.00 and the new R $ 180.00. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Uma Bosta! Nunca vi uma atendente tão mal educada na minha vida! Estávamos com meu sobrinho de 2 anos, que derrubou um vaso de flores de plástico, não quebrou nem nada, e a atendente começou a gritar conosco dizendo que éramos “sem noção”. Lixo de lugar, lixo de pessoa trabalhando e os preços são mais caros que livros novos. Ou seja, simplesmente não tem o pq esse lugar existir!
Crap! I've never seen such a rude attendant in my life! We were with my 2-year-old nephew, who dropped a plastic flower pot, didn't break it or anything, and the attendant started yelling at us saying that we were "clueless". Place trash, working person trash and prices are more expensive than new books. In other words, there is simply no reason why this place exists!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Vendedora consideravelmente rude e, por vezes, debochada com o cliente. Preços MUITO mais altos do que os que você encontra nos sebos da praça da Sé e nos outros sebos da rua Teodoro Sampaio.
Não gostei da experiência: o acervo é considerável, mas deixa a desejar no atendimento, pois você é atendido como se estivesse pedindo um favor e devido aos preços, os quais são inacreditáveis de tão altos.
Pretty rude saleswoman and sometimes mocking the customer. Prices MUCH higher than what you find in the Praça da Sé and the other ones in Teodoro Sampaio Street.
I did not like the experience: the collection is considerable, but it leaves something to be desired in the service, because you are treated as if you were asking for a favor and due to the prices, which are unbelievable so high.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Péssimo atendimento e preços! Os outros sebos da Teodoro Sampaio são muito melhores! Achei um livro que realmente é caro nas livrarias , mas achei que poderia ter um bom preço, estava o dobro do que se vende nas livrarias, tive que eu subir em um banquinho bambo para pegar ele na última prateleira (eu tenho quase 2 metros de altura). Cheguei no caixa para confirmar o preço e a mulher disse que estava com 50% de desconto, ou seja, meteram o preço lá em cima para vender pelo mesmo valor que em livraria, só que usado e amassado, versão em inglês (existe versão traduzida), mas fingindo que era uma oportunidade imperdível e muito barata. Tentei abaixar o preço com a vendedora, ela foi arrogante e disse que era raro/esgotado, comentei que tinha em português em livraria pelo mesmo preço, disse para eu comprar lá então. Não quer dar desconto, tá ok, não precisa ser arrogante e mal educada, mas não quer, tudo bem. Mas a gota d'água é quando eu vou devolver o livro para ela, ela diz para eu não dar para ela, para colocar onde eu peguei, ou seja subir no banquinho bambo e fazer o trabalho dela. Lugar péssimo e vendedora horrível!
Terrible service and prices! Teodoro Sampaio's other used bookstores are much better! I found a book that is really expensive in bookstores, but I thought it could have a good price, it was double what is sold in bookstores, I had to climb on a wobbly stool to get it on the last shelf (I have almost 2 meters of height). I arrived at the cashier to confirm the price and the woman said I had a 50% discount, that is, they put the price up there to sell for the same price as in the bookstore, only used and crushed, the English version (there is a translated version ), but pretending it was an unmissable opportunity and very cheap. I tried to lower the price with the seller, she was arrogant and said it was rare/out of stock, I commented that I had it in Portuguese in the bookstore for the same price, she told me to buy there then. You don't want to discount, ok, you don't need to be arrogant and rude, but you don't want to, that's fine. But the last straw is when I'm going to return the book to her, she tells me not to give it to her, to put it where I got it, that is, climb on the rickety stool and do her job. Terrible place and horrible saleswoman!

A experiência que tive com esse sebo foi no mínimo revoltante,fui algumas vezes lá e comprei alguns livros e tenho algumas coisas que gostaria de compartilhar.
Acredito que toda a minha revolta seja principalmente com os preços EXORBITANTES,mas esse mal está na maioria dos Sebos que visito em Sp,porém no Espaço do livro é quase um assalto! Um livro que na Amazon custa 35 aqui custa 70/80!!!
E Ai daquele que reclamar do preço,A ATENDENTE FICA EXTREMAMENTE OFENDIDA E TE TRATARÁ COM A MAIOR IGNORÂNCIA!
Falando na atendente ela é um show a parte,é impressionante como essa senhora é de Lua,um dia ela te trata bem,no outro ela te trata como lixo,na minha primeira vez lá ela simplesmente me largou no meio dos livros e apontou para uma estante dizendo "O livro que você quer está por ali" e virou as costas skskskskskkss,e óbvio que eu não achei o livro na dita estante e comecei a rondar o local,no qual eu percebi um cheiro MUITO forte,mesmo estando de máscara aquele cheiro era estonteante,continuando a minha LENDÁRIA BUSCA PELO LIVRO,eu simplesmente rondei aquele lugar inteiro até achar ele em uma estante sobre BIOLOGIA! O livro era sobre ficção ?,e a atendente tinha me dito que provavelmente não tinha aquele livro ali!
Mas durante a minha busca eu vi outros livros e dei uma conferida nos preços,só de zoas,MEU AMIGO EU ATÉ SEGUREI MINHA CARTEIRA COM MEDO DE SER ROUBADO,tinha um livro todo rasgado,um livro realmente velho e eu achei que ele custaria uns 10 reais pelo estado no mínimo deplorável,e ele estava custando 50 reais!!!
Essa foi a gota da água pra mim,e hoje eu bato o martelo de que não frequentarei mais nenhum sebo,eu comecei a comprar livros em Sebos para ajudar as pessoas, principalmente nesse momento de pandemia na qual esta fechando vários estabelecimentos,mas os sebos em sua maioria perderam a razão e estão vendendo livros usados com preços de novos ??♂️
Eu realmente queria ajudar esses sebos mas vender livros que custam 30 por 70 é no mínimo imoral.
No mais eu apenas recomendo que vocês sempre vejam em sites onlines antes de visitar esses sebos ??
A esqueci de dizer,o acervo é realmente muito grande porém com tanto livro o local fica desorganizado e sujo,recomendo tomar um antialérgico e um ar antes de entrar.

The experience I had with this tallow was at least revolting, I went there a few times and bought some books and I have some things I would like to share.
I believe that all my revolt is mainly with EXORBITANT prices, but this evil is in most of the Sebos that I visit in Sp, but in the book space it is almost an assault! A book that on Amazon costs 35 here costs 70/80 !!!
And woe to him who complains about the price, THE ATTENDANT IS EXTREMELY OFFENDED AND WILL TREAT YOU WITH THE GREATEST IGNORANCE!
Speaking of the attendant, she is a show apart, it is amazing how this lady is from the Moon, one day she treats you well, the next she treats you like rubbish, on my first time there she just left me in the middle of the books and pointed to a bookshelf saying "The book you want is there" and turned his back on skskskskskkss, and obviously I didn't find the book on that bookcase and started to prowl the place, where I noticed a VERY strong smell, even though I was wearing a mask that smell was stunning, continuing my LEGENDARY SEARCH FOR THE BOOK, I just went around that whole place until I found it on a bookshelf about BIOLOGY! The book was about fiction ?, and the clerk had told me that she probably didn't have that book there!
But during my search I saw other books and checked the prices, just for fun, MY FRIEND I HANDLED MY WALLET FOR FEAR OF BEING STOLEN, I had a book all torn, a really old book and I thought it would cost some 10 reais by the state at least deplorable, and it was costing 50 reais !!!
That was the last straw for me, and today I hit the hammer that I won't be using any tallow anymore, I started buying books in Sebos to help people, especially in this pandemic moment when several stores are closing, but the tallow most of them have lost their reason and are selling used books at new prices ??♂️
I really wanted to help these bookstores but selling books that cost 30 for 70 is immoral to say the least.
Plus I just recommend that you always check on online sites before visiting these used bookstores ??
I forgot to say, the collection is really very large but with so much book the place is disorganized and dirty, I recommend taking an allergy and air before entering.
