★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It s an iconic place here in the arpoador área , with cute little shops and cafeterias.Prices are somewhat "touristic" but I cannot help loving this place and bought my favorite asset here in Brasil, my havaianas, here .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to eat, walk around and take in all that is the Galeria. Plenty of shopping available for all tastes and styles. However it was the atmosphere and the people watching that made the experience more than any single shopping outing could provide. If you're in the area and want to experience gallery shopping, then this should be one spot on your list. A plethora of colorful shops and excitement all around provided one a visit where one didn't have to buy anything and still enjoy being there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sandwiched between Copacabana and Ipanema The Galeria River is a Kool, hip place for sure. Right next to the famous "Girl from Ipanema Park" The Galeria River has bunch of stores catering to the "Carioca" life style. It would be really hard for anyone to find a collection of stores that are serving the skateboarding, surfing and happy go lucky life style. The only issue I have with the place is the relative high turnover rate. You may see a store changes almost every month. However if you are feeling like a Carioca, Galeria River got you covered.
