★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sempre que vou a Paraty procuro um novo lugar para conhecer! Dessa vez conheci o restaurante Gastromar, localizado na Marina Porto Imperial (BR101 km 578). Fiquei apaixonada ? quando vi as fotos dos pratos e drinks pela rede social do restaurante. A chef Gisela Schmitt prioriza os ingredientes locais e orgânicos.
Reservei a mesa pelo Whatsapp e foi solicitado um depósito antecipado no valor de R$ 150, que foi devolvido como crédito no momento que pagamos a conta. Não sei se a casa pratica habitualmente essa regra, mas em 16/01/2021 estavam fazendo desta forma. Não encontrei o preço dos pratos e bebidas em minha busca pela internet, mas pela exclusividade do local acreditava que seria um restaurante com preço mais alto $$$, e realmente é. Acho importante ter uma ideia dos preços antes de ir a algum restaurante, sou uma entusiasta e infelizmente meu orçamento é bem planejado para conhecer restaurantes mais caros rsrs. Por conta disso tirei fotos do cardápio, assim vocês podem explorar os preços antes de ir ?!
Ficamos em uma mesa na varanda apreciando a linda vista para o mar e dos barcos da marina! O serviço foi educado e atencioso. Pedi de entrada o Crab Toast (R$ 62), uma torrada assada com manteiga e siri do Saco do Mamanguá. O sabor do pão e siri eram muito bons, mas acredito que exageraram um pouco na manteiga, pois estava um pouco gorduroso. O prato principal foi o Yemanjá (R$ 208 ou R$ 228) composto de grelhado de pescado do dia, camarões, polvo, lula, mariscos, tomate grelhado, azeite de ervas e purê de batatas. Não havia polvo no dia, então sugerimos colocar mais camarões. Quando o prato chegou houve outra pequena substituição, notamos que no lugar da lula veio um lagostim. Uma boa surpresa, pois gosto mais do lagostim! rs ?? Os camarões estavam ótimos, muito frescos e bem temperados, mas achamos que faltou um pouco de tempero no peixe e o lagostim chegou bem frio, diferente da temperatura dos demais ingredientes do prato. ? Para acompanhar nossa refeição escolhemos um vinho com rótulo da casa, um Merlot Rose da vinícola Pizzato (preço na faixa dos R$ 100), uma ótima escolha para nosso prato. E para finalizar, uma sobremesa muito saborosa: o afogado (R$ 39)! Sorvete de fava de baunilha com shot de café expresso e mix de castanhas e especiarias! Estava delicioso! Para harmonizar com a sobremesa aceitamos a sugestão da casa, um vinho digestivo: Henriques - Madeira (R$ 26). A harmonização foi perfeita! Devo dizer que a sobremesa foi o destaque da refeição! ?
Gostei muito do clima, decoração e proposta do restaurante! Fui com a expectativa alta e acredito que o prato principal não atingiu essa expectativa. Mas de forma geral a refeição foi muito boa, recomendo!
Anexo ao restaurante há um pequeno empório com vinhos, snacks e lembranças para atender o público da marina. Também possuem um barco e realizam um passeio com almoço a bordo, deve ser incrível! ?

Whenever I go to Paraty I look for a new place to visit! This time I visited the Gastromar restaurant, located at Marina Porto Imperial (BR101 km 578). I was in love when I saw the photos of the dishes and drinks on the restaurant's social network. Chef Gisela Schmitt prioritizes local and organic ingredients.
I booked the table through Whatsapp and was asked for an advance deposit in the amount of R $ 150, which was returned as a credit the moment we paid the bill. I don't know if the house usually practices this rule, but on 1/16/2021 they were doing it this way. I didn't find the price of the dishes and drinks in my search on the internet, but for the exclusivity of the place I believed it would be a restaurant with a higher price $$$, and it really is. I think it is important to have an idea of the prices before going to any restaurant, I am an enthusiast and unfortunately my budget is well planned to know more expensive restaurants lol. Because of that I took pictures of the menu, so you can explore the prices before you go ?!
We stayed at a table on the balcony enjoying the beautiful view of the sea and the boats in the marina! The service was polite and attentive. I ordered Crab Toast (R $ 62), a roasted toast with butter and crab from Saco do Mamanguá. The flavor of the bread and crab was very good, but I believe that they exaggerated a little in the butter, because it was a little greasy. The main dish was Yemanjá (R $ 208 or R $ 228) consisting of grilled fish of the day, shrimp, octopus, squid, seafood, grilled tomatoes, herb oil and mashed potatoes. There was no octopus on the day, so we suggest adding more prawns. When the dish arrived there was another small substitution, we noticed that in place of the squid came a crayfish. A good surprise, because I like the crayfish better! lol ?? The prawns were great, very fresh and well seasoned, but we think the fish lacked a little seasoning and the crayfish arrived very cold, different from the temperature of the other ingredients in the dish. ? To accompany our meal, we chose a wine with the house label, a Merlot Rose from the Pizzato winery (price in the range of R $ 100), a great choice for our dish. And finally, a very tasty dessert: the drowned (R $ 39)! Vanilla bean ice cream with shot of espresso and mix of nuts and spices! It was delicious! To harmonize with dessert, we accepted the house suggestion, a digestive wine: Henriques - Madeira (R $ 26). The harmonization was perfect! I must say that dessert was the highlight of the meal! ?
I really liked the atmosphere, decoration and proposal of the restaurant! I went with the high expectation and I believe that the main course did not reach that expectation. But in general the meal was very good, I recommend!
Attached to the restaurant is a small emporium with wines, snacks and souvenirs to serve the marina's audience. They also have a boat and do a lunch tour on board, it must be amazing! ?

Já o atendimento é muito confuso, tivemos super problema com mesa, e no final a moça que nos atendeu veio correndo atrás da gente falando que tinha esquecido o couvert artístico, não sei o que foi mais bizarro, a situação de alguém correndo no estacionamento para cobrar isso ou um restaurante desse nivel cobrar couvert artístico ... Enfim ... Pelo menos a refeição e as bebidas foram muito boas!
The vibe, decor and food are wonderful! The service is very confusing, we had a huge problem with the table, and in the end the girl who served us came running after us saying that she had forgotten the cover art, I don't know what was more bizarre, the situation of someone running in the parking lot to charge that or a restaurant of that level charge artistic cover charge... Anyway... At least the meal and drinks were very good!

The atmosphere is spectacular - you arrive in Paraty’s marina, greeted with this quiet and peaceful vibe, not to mention the view of the sea and the surrounding Atlantic Forest; it all makes it truly an amazing experience.
The food is excellent. Try the fish hamburger, you will never forget it. The meat variant is great as well, although I didn’t particularly like the cheese they used. Go for the fish one!
Staff is super kind and efficient. Dogs are welcome. Location is great, located on the marina. About a 5-10 minute drive from Paraty’s center.
