★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Yummy fresh fish, well prepared/cut and served. Service was also good and attentive. However the place is tiny and you wont be very comfortable. A little pricey for the whole experience, but, well, its a touristy location in Copacabama. I would come back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I stopped in here for a late lunch a couple weeks ago - pretty good! Small location but that's not necessarily a bad thing; it was a comfortable setting. Kinda cool to have the seating outside on the street.
Pretty good selection on the menu, service was fine and I got by with basic Portuguese. The couple rolls I got (spicy tuna, and salmon skin) were quite good.
Don't necessarily have to go out of your way for it, but I'd go back if I was in the area!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great little sushi/Japanese restaurant just off from the Copacabana beach. Sitting outdoors on one of the 4 street tables meant great people watching of the local cariocas. Friendly staff although they have limited English. Menu is in Portuguese and English. My favourite dishes were the bao buns which I had with fish (chicken also an option) and the meat goyza. Spicy tuna roll also excellent although would have liked it finished with spicy sauce.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sushi is really good quality, thinly sliced salmon belly was very juicy and fatty, however the sauce was a bit too much on the sweet side. Sushi combo was very fresh and well made. Reasonable price.
Warning though: do not order ramen if you have any expectations. The broth was too salty to be tasted and no Unami from the broth, the ramen itself is just from pot noddles. Would have been at least four star if it’s not for the ramen, I’d suggest the owner to simply take out the ramen from the menu.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious Japanese food, friendly service, English menu. A temaki without rice — i.e. ONLY RAW FISH — was just R6 ($1.20) more. There was enough spicy salmon to fill two makis. It was glorious ?
Katsudon was very tasty. Considering the one I tried in Mexico City recently at an otherwise flawless dining experience (inedible due to rubbery consistency), this gets top marks.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I really loved Haru, it is a small little sushi bar, with just a few tables outside and inside, the staff is friendly, food is amazing, totally worth, can't wait to come back!
