★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were reading reviews for top restaurants in Copacabana, Brazil and seen that Pappa Jack's had excellent reviews. We decided to give it a try and we are glad we did. The food was excellent and the service was even better. The two guys that waited on us were the BEST. Both Aldo & Johnathan went above and beyond making dining with them an incredible experience. Aldo & Johnathan were INCREDABLE from the minute we walked in to the time we left. Pappa Jack's is very lucky to have these two guys working for them. We will definitely be back. It ended up not being a big deal but note they only serve pizza for dinner (Starts at 5pm) due to covid and lack of workers. We ended up ordering pasta and it was delicious. Hope that this review helps.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Been here for lunch and dinner as well, pizza is only in the dinner menu. Both meals were very good, nice service, we even had live music at the dinner

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had what was called family pizza size with two flavors: half of Zucchini with pesto and half of Stamps Francesca. For dessert we had a brownie with ice cream covered with milk sweet caramel. We really liked the food. The place was pleasant and the service was quick and OK.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If your American this this is average at best. They try to get some American flavors or Italian American flavors but failed. How do you have soggy ceasar salad, and why is the pizza wet. It need a true itlian from newyork to change up the menu

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 1 star is harsh but the price to quality balance here is shocking. We’ve been all over South America for 3 months in all kinds of food establishments and this was a shock. We wondered why the place was deserted at dinner time and now we know why.
- The food was poor, Papa Jack may have been to an Italian restaurant in his life, but he definitely didn’t spend any time in the kitchen.
- Their $9 Real each natural lemonade was almost 100% just lemon juice, possible to drink only after 3 sachets of sugar were added, but still far from enjoyable.
- The Carbonara was very watery, a struggle to eat, the risotto however was 70% just melted cheese, flavourless and I doubt most people could finish a whole plate of it, both of us combined were unable to. The good reviews here seem to only have eaten the pizza here, but I wouldn’t risk it now!
- Despite having very few customers and standing around bored, the staff were slow and pretty rude, and bizarrely openly threw used napkins from the tables straight into the street! (Photo attached for proof!).
- On top of all this, we were charged over $50-60 reals per dish, you’d be mad not to walk 2 mins to any of the restaurants on the beach front and get an amazing 5 star meal for a similar price!
