About Hospital Samaritano
Inaugurado em 25 de janeiro de 1894, no bairro de Higienópolis, em São Paulo, o Hospital Samaritano nasceu com a missão de atender a todos, sem distinção de religião. Essa foi a motivação do imigrante chinês José Pereira Achao ao doar todos os seus bens à Igreja Presbiteriana antes de morrer. Um pouco antes, ele teve que se converter ao catolicismo para conseguir atendimento na Santa Casa de Misericórdia de São Paulo. Um grupo de imigrantes britânicos, norte-americanos e alemães, apoiados por tradicionais famílias paulistas, adotou a ideia e fundou o hospital.

O Hospital Samaritano possui uma ótima infra-estrutura para atendimentos que necessitam de internações ou para atendimentos emergenciais. Conta com atendimentos de exames e de consultas médicas. A recepção é rápida e explica com clareza os procedimentos. A equipe de enfermagem é especializada e trata os pacientes com cuidado, respeito e faz transportes de pacientes de maneira delicada e cordial. São cuidadosos quanto às medicações prescritas pela equipe médica e substituição de curativos. A equipe médica é bastante qualificada e com alto nível de conhecimento.
As suítes para os pacientes são ótimas e aconchegantes, com ar condicionado individual, banheiro privativo espaçoso e TV a cabo. Os ambientes são limpos, bem iluminados, organizados e devidamente sinalizados. As refeições servidas aos pacientes são bem diversificadas e de ótima qualidade.
Os preços das diárias e serviços do hospital são compatíveis com a realidade atual sem abuso de valores. Aceita diversos convênios.
Tem estacionamento no local, porém, achei os valores um pouco altos.

Hospital Samaritano has an excellent infrastructure for care that requires hospitalization or emergency care. It has medical examinations and consultations. Reception is fast and clearly explains the procedures. The nursing team is specialized and treats patients with care, respect and transports patients in a delicate and cordial manner. They are careful about the medications prescribed by the medical team and the replacement of dressings. The medical team is highly qualified and has a high level of knowledge.
The patient suites are great and cozy, with individual air conditioning, spacious private bathroom and cable TV. The environments are clean, well lit, organized and properly signposted. Meals served to patients are well diversified and of excellent quality.
The prices of the hospital's daily rates and services are compatible with the current reality without abusing values. It accepts several agreements.
There is parking on site, however, I found the prices a little high.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Use to be 5 star. But now it's American owned you feel prices rising, quality dropping. Waiting times up and staff under pressure. Went there for a blood test recently but after nearly an hour's wait at processing, I left. In these times we need to be safe guarded not at risk. This profit based mentality means they can't rise to the challenge.
