★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed in many hotels in Rio and this one exceeded my expectations. Modern furniture and clean rooms, excellent staff including friendly bartenders, cleaners and reception team. Good breakfast, nice location, free towels and umbrellas for the beach. Only thing need to be aware of is they don’t have their own fitness centre and they have a partnership with a gym nearby which requires an additional fee to use, so if you are a gym rat be aware of that. Still amazing hotel, would definitely stay again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The hotel is located at beginning of Ipanema which is the nicest neighborhood in Rio. The staff are very friendly and extremely helpful. I got a king room because I prefer one bed and it was huge and clean. The room had also double blinds which was amazing. The AC was strong. They contract with a beach stand, Miriam, that provides the hotel guests with a free rental for a beach chair and umbrella. That was a very nice touch. The room also had free coffee/tea and courtesy water as you cannot drink the tap water.
The worst thing was the WiFi which was very spotty even though my room was on the third floor.
Overall the hotel was an excellent value and I would certainly stay there again.

Great varied breakfast - including cooked options (eggs, bacon etc.) plus good fresh espresso coffee on offer.
Handy, quiet location with 5 minute access to both Copacabana & Ipanema beaches & many options for eating out.
Design hotel concept does not work for me - far too much white on white decor which does not wear well and is too stark.
Hotel & rooms were very clean.
Wifi signal to distant rooms was not reliable - fine elsewhere.
Good value for money hotel - would recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I just returned with my elderly parents from a trip to Rio de Janeiro. My sister has lived there for almost 25 years and we travel to Brazil to visit her quite frequently. The three of us agree that the Best Western Premier Fashion Hotel was outstanding in every way. The manager, Dani and her team went out of their way to make sure that we were comfortable and well taken care of. The hotel is very clean, spacious and stunning. The breakfast buffet is absolutely delicious. My parents are not the easiest people to travel with. They are older and have a lot of questions. They even wanted to change their room when they arrived. This hotel accommodated them with such grace and hospitality. I can't imagine staying anywhere else. I especially loved the modern rooms and the fact that there was no carpeting in the hotel to affect my allergies. The location is great, and it is very safe. I enjoyed walking from the beach to Leblon where my sister lives every morning. This hotel is professional courteous and outstanding in every way possible.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice hotel. Staff realy trying the best. But maintenence issues. But overall good and great value. Big rooms. There is smell little bit in the hotel and rooms not a good smell. The breakfast basic but ok.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I paid over 400 reis to stay in the smallest room I’ve ever seen. Not only are the rooms small but I reserved a “superior room” and was placed in a room with 2 small single beds. After speaking to the manager that this is not what was advertised to me, I was told to pay an extra 250 reis for an upgrade or I have the option of combing the two single beds. Bad value for the price and the hotel in general looks nothing like photos. Do not stay here, there are better hotels for the value!
