Fora isso, é um campus grande em área física, mas que não proporciona algumas condições mínimas para estudo, a exemplo da impossibilidade de xerox e impressão, além do local situado, que além de ser afastado demais do centro da cidade, é área periférica e com alta recorrência de assaltos. No mais, os professores são super qualificados e os laboratórios de computadores não ficam devendo nada aos labs de faculdades particulares. Um ponto mais que positivo do IFBa de SAJ é justamente a oferta em larga escala de cursos FIC nas mais diversas áreas.
