★ ★ ★ ★ ★ SANTUÁRIO DE NOSSA SENHORA DE BONSUCESSO – GUARULHOS/SP Uma linda e antiga igrejinha localizada no bairro de Bonsucesso, é uma das mais antigas igrejas de Guarulhos, construída em taipa de pilão no século XIX em substituição à antiga capela. É referência para a mais antiga manifestação religiosa popular ainda existente na região, a Festa da Carpição, que ocorre anualmente na primeira segunda-feira de agosto. No final do mesmo mês, é realizada desde 1741 a Festa de Nossa Senhora de Bonsucesso. Faz parte do complexo a capela de São Benedito. Erguida na segunda metade do século XIX, destinada aos escravos e libertos de origem africana. Eu estive visitando a igreja, gostei bastante, mas fiquei perplexo com a agressão a arquitetura antiga. Quem visitar vai saber o que estou falando. Na fachada da igreja existe atualmente uma moderna placa com o nome da igreja. Isso é uma agressão à arquitetura, quer colocar uma placa com o nome da igreja, sem problemas, mas chame um artesão e faça uma coisa que se assemelhe ao trabalho e material da época. Ah! Isso não é uma crítica, e sim, uma observação construtiva.
