Apesar do pequeno tamanho há muita história e estórias envolvendo esse local, mas o principal mesmo é o grande afluxo de fiéis que entram o dia todo nesse local.

Simples e bela, o que se destaca é o seu tamanho, parece uma miniatura, uma ironia à cidade que tem fama pelo tamanho dos objetos, o apelo aos exageros. Antiga e muito bem conservada, limpa, só um pouco complicado para fotografá-la por estar numa rua bastante movimentada, cercada de edificações. Itu precisa também fazer cabeamento subterrâneo da fiação dos postes para limpar o visual da cidade, permitir fotografarmos os prédios históricos sem o emaranhado de fios comprometendo a joia arquitetônica.
It is one of the oldest churches in the city. Simple and beautiful, what stands out is its size, it looks like a miniature, an irony to the city that is famous for the size of the objects, the appeal to exaggeration. Old and very well maintained, clean, just a little complicated to photograph it because it is on a very busy street, surrounded by buildings.
