Nem bucólica, nem atraente, apresenta pontos sujos e de quase nenhum paisagismo. Uma pena. Poderia ser muito mais bonita, com pouco investimento e muita conservação. São traços de como cuidamos da nossa história, da nossa cultura, da nossa memória...
 Just like other points of João Pessoa's historic center, there is much to improve on Independencia Square. Neither bucolic nor attractive, it has dirty spots and almost no landscaping. A feather. Essa praça deveria ter mais segurança após esse evento de final de ano, infelizmente é esquecida.
E pra a festividade da data natalina o prefeito esqueceu de colocar pontos de abrigos(caso chova), principalmente pq tem eventos pra Crianças.
