Atendimento impecável, todas os pratos que pedimos estavam deliciosos e com sabores muito equilibrados. É notória a alta qualidade dos peixes. Os drinks também são muito bons! O garçom nos deu algumas recomendações de pratos e drinks e acertou todos, vale a pena o voto de confiança.
Amazing experience. The restaurant has a slightly high average ticket, however, it is worth the experience. Impeccable service, all the dishes we ordered were delicious and with very balanced flavors. The high quality of the fish is notorious. The drinks are also very good! The waiter gave us some recommendations for dishes and drinks and got them all right, it is worth the vote of confidence.

O destaque vai para o tartare de atum, ou de salmão com ovas, uma delícia. Depois no prato principal, o atum com crosta de gergelim estava divino e por último, uma surpresa: o sorvete de maçã verde, nunca pensei que fosse tão bom, amei. Éramos três, pagamos 300 reais por toda essa refeição, acompanhada de sucos deliciosos, no jantar. Para finalizar, só quero dizer que valeu imensamente a pena e recomendo
A super nice experience. Beautiful and welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff. We chose the menu with starter, main and dessert, all very good. The highlight is the tuna tartare, or salmon with roe, which is delicious. Then for the main course, the sesame-crusted tuna was divine and, finally, a surprise: the green apple ice cream, I never thought it was so good, I loved it. There were three of us, we paid 300 reais for this entire meal, accompanied by delicious juices, for dinner. Finally, I just want to say that it was immensely worth it and I recommend it

Amazing. Prime sushi, excellent dishes. Very good service. I highly recommend it. One dish more delicious than the other. Cozy environment.

Too different! From the starter to the dessert, you can see why it is one of the most renowned Japanese restaurants in Brazil! Beautiful atmosphere, impeccable service and all excellent dishes. Highlight of the day: rib yakissoba and green apple ice cream with sake gelatin. All very tasty! Grade 10!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fui pela primeira vez, em uma tarde de sábado, para almoço. Achei os peixes do sushis de boa qualidade, frescos, de bom sabor e tamanho. O arroz do sushi de sabor suave, que não atrapalha o sabor dos peixes. Os tamanhos das peças são bons, para sushis a la carter. O yakissoba de carne suína é gostoso, macarrão muito bom e tempero meio agridoce, talvez por ser o de carne suína. Não sei se os outros também são agridoce. Tem pratos executivos para almoço, de preço bem em conta, por 65,00, mas só de segunda a sexta-feira. O sorvete de maçã verde com gelatina de sakê é bem gostoso e leve para sobremesa. Um almoço para duas pessoas no final de semana, para comer bem, gira em torno de 250 reais.
I went for the first time, on a Saturday afternoon, for lunch. I found the sushi fish to be of good quality, fresh, good flavor and size. The sushi rice has a mild flavor, which does not interfere with the flavor of the fish. The sizes of the pieces are good, for sushi a la carte. The pork yakisoba is delicious, the noodles are very good and the seasoning is kind of bittersweet, maybe because it's pork. I don't know if the others are also bittersweet. It has executive dishes for lunch, reasonably priced, for 65.00, but only from Monday to Friday. The green apple ice cream with sake gelatin is very tasty and light for dessert. A lunch for two on the weekend, to eat well, is around 250 reais.

Os peixes são muito frescos, a execução dos pratos é próxima da perfeição e os sabores são maravilhosos.
Pedimos uma entrada que vinha com spicy tuna, ceviche e tempurá de legumes, uma combinação inusitada, porém que combina 100%.
Também pedimos meia porção do baterá misto, e todos estavam deliciosos. Os sushis e sashimis são perfeitos e se for lá não deixe de pedir, mesmo que seja só um para experimentar, e os valores são muito condizentes com a qualidade.
Com certeza voltarei quando estiver em João Pessoa novamente.
Best experience I've had at a Japanese restaurant so far.
The fish is very fresh, the execution of the dishes is close to perfection and the flavors are wonderful.
We ordered a starter that came with spicy tuna, ceviche and vegetable tempura, an unusual combination, but it combines 100%.
We also ordered half a portion of the mixed batter, and they were all delicious. The sushi and sashimi are perfect and if you go there be sure to order, even if it's just one to try, and the prices are very consistent with the quality.
I will definitely come back when I'm in João Pessoa again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Before you ask why I did not give this restaurant a higher rating, I’ll tell you: Jun Sakamoto is the only chef of a Japanese restaurant in Brazil that has a Michelin Star. Because of this, I was expecting sooooo much more than what we experienced here for lunch. Was this better than another sushi restaurant in the mall? Yes, but I expected that it should be. But not much better.
Their products are superior (when they are not 86’d from the menu—without telling the customers). But the presentation was not nearly the quality that it should be (in this aspect, it was only slightly better than a Japanese restaurant you’d find in a Shopping mall).
Let me explain our dining experience, keeping in mind that they’ve only been open for about 2 weeks (which doesn’t excuse anything). Their menu was only available by QR code (for sanitary reasons); we ordered a bottle of sake, and there the problems began. The waitress’s menu on her device was different than what was shown on their online menu (what we wanted was unavailable, but wasn’t updated on the online menu; what was available was completely different). Our server, Faby, did the best she could with the training she had, which was inadequate (she was a wonderful waitress, trying the best she could under the circumstances).
When it came to the food, at least 3 dishes had revisions that were not advised nor marked on the menu (we did not know that there were changes to the items we ordered until they came to the table in a different shape than was described on their menu, which is inexcusable; for example, their spice shisso was unavailaible; their 3-mushroom in butter dish arrived at the table with 2 types of mushrooms and no explanation or apology; our Manaira Combo (30 pieces) was described as having 3 different types of fish, but arrived at the table with only 2 types of fish, also with no explanation and no apology. Sadly, the fish that was missing (the white fish) is my wife’s favorite, so unhappy wife, unhappy client.
We ordered a few pieces of sushi and sashimi à la carte, including 2 pieces of tuna sushi with foie-gras. The sushi chefs first sent the tuna without the foie gras on top, then, when corrected, sent the skimpiest, tiny pieces of foie gras on the sushi as to almost be a joke; not to mention that they forgot to completely torch them. This is either because of lack of training, lack of understanding of their menu or lack of caring.
I considered ordering some other pieces of sushi or sashimi, but my wife called me back to my senses, reminding me how everything thus far had been a disappointment.
Our waitress invited the manager to our table to discuss our displeasure, and the manager was apologetic and grateful for the feedback, so I give them credit for that. The manager listened attentively and was happy to hear our critiques, but his explanation that they have trouble with their suppliers is completely irrelevant to a customer.
Oh, another thing: their website is useless. They don’t have their menu on it, nor their hours, nor any other useful information.
While deserving of only 1-star, I give this restaurant 2-stars in the hope that all these errors are because of their recent opening and will be corrected. We will surely be back to try their food again and sincerely hope that the fact that this restaurant bears the name of a Michelin-starred chef, that he will be too protective of his reputation and too embarrassed by the shortcomings that he has left to occur here to continue. Update to come.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place recently gained a Michelin. Eduardo the Italian - Brasilian waiter and his charme was equivalent of Fred Siriex. Teishoku Jun Sakamoto & Teishoku Manaíra are full of fresh tasty bites. The Edamame is on point. The green tea panna cotta is delicious. The best Japanese restaurant I've visited in all Brasil.
